Is it helpful if a hub is pinged after it has been published?

The Internet is Web 2.0 Live!
Absolutely! It's very simple to take the RSS of your hubpages and make a widget from it and place it on different places in the internet, like Facebook superwall, Ning, Your own or a close friend's MYspace. I have a couple of blogs and I put one of the widgets from hubpages on that blog. Another place I put the widget is in the online stores that I have. Actually I have 19 of them and my granddaughter has 8. They are customizable and are really niche shops. Obviously this widget is going to make those shops even more spider friendly in the new web 2.0 atmosphere of the web. Here's an example Baby Phat shop.
You can make widgets at widgetbox.com,in a variety of shapes and colors. There are some places I can't always get to, so I just put a Headline Animator from feedburner in those places, like CafeMom.

Thank you for your good hub. But I thought there might be a difference between ping and RSS. My hub which was published two months ago, if I ping today would I see a difference in traffic?
