Is it okay for guys to cry?

Today's society imposes its rules upon each and everyone of us and despite our claims, in some way or the ther it affects most of us in someway or the other and determines our actions to a certain extent.

One of the major affects of socities on humans is through the guidelines it sets for men and women. Through centuries Man is the masculine and strong being. The warrior, alpha male, in control of his emotions, dispassionate, where as it's the female who sheds the tears and opens up the dam gates to let the salty liquid out.

A lot of times, you guys out there would have felt a surge of emotions rush into you, some of which were too hard to take in and that probably resulted in yur eyes being watered. But as soon as you realised that you're eyes are blurred ue to the liquid endowments thats formed, you try to take care of the situation. And how do you that? By wiping your eyes ofcourse lest someone sees you and calls you something you dread, such as a fag.

Is it ok to be a fag?

Now, despite it's humiliating appearance, it is okay to cry. Men have as much right to express their emotions as do women. Depression, anger and sadness knows no gender.

But why don't men cry?

Truth is, behind the shut door, everyone does. Be it you, your father or Arnold Schwarznegger. It's just that Arnie being a misogynistic overgrown muscle box just doesn't get such scripts where he is allowed to show his emotional levels. Ever seen a spanish soap opera? Now this is where the reversal of the popular stereotype takes place. All the men are sensual and cry where as the women are mighty and seductive.

So now what?

What do you mean now what? Cry when you want to. Laught when you want to. nd it's okay to be a fag too, if that's your game.

Ofcourse not! Your girlfriend loves you a lot and will not judge you based on your emotional expression. Instead, she will be so happy that you express yourself so clearly in front of her. She will wipe your tears and treat them like a kiss from an angel, yes, each one of them. And this will help you get some too.

You know how, when you look at a drug addict, you think he is a junkie? Though in reality, he might have turned to drugs because of some heavy sexual abuse at home, or would have got some pretty bad grades at school, but since he isn't carry a banner with all this written over it, for you, he's pretty much a junkie. Similarly, to other girls, you're just a guy who is breaking down and crying. And unless you're well hung, they'd be least bit interested in knowing about the history. So unfortunately, yes, they will think you're a fag.
