Is there really bad credit personal loans out there?
77Bad Credit Personal Loans.....Do They Exist?
You bet that they do. Bad Credit Personal Loans are out there, and available to many. However, they may not exist in every way that you might think that they do.
First, if you mean a large bank loan for people with bad credit, then you may not have all the options you wish that you did. If you need a loan for a home, or a car, then you may not be able to get what you want if your credit score is bad. You may not be able to get the brand new Corvette or the 4 bed/3 full bath home on the hill, you will have to settle for a KIA for time being, until you repair your credit and build it back up, or perhaps less. (And there's nothing wrong with a KIA. If it does everything that a Honda or Toyota does for almost ten grand less, then guess who wins? You do. Honda and Toyota doesn't. And for those who wonder, yes, KIA makes an SUV and a minivan. For less than others. Again, YOU, as the consumer, wins.) However, that doesn't mean that they don't exist.
Many bad credit personal loans exist in the form of payday loans and cash advance loans, obtainable by many lenders in many different areas. Immediately, it may conjure negative images and ideas, but don't be fooled too much. There may be good reason behind it, but many lenders are regulated and professional businesses, not just legalized loan sharks. Some states have banned them outright, and more are trying to do the same currently, but the results haven't been positive. The going rate is typically $15 per every $100 taken out, and the claims of outrageous interest don't add up. 391% APR doesn't exist, no matter what they tell you. Look at it this way: If you take out a $200 loan, that you pay back two weeks later in full, the fee is $30. That's 15% interest. Not unreasonable, in the least. The maximum amount that you can take out depends on the business you go to, but for most the maximum allowed is in the $1000 - $1500 range, and it is almost never more than that.
Some lenders have even gone online, and you can apply over the internet or the phone, and get the funds via direct deposit, like this website. Now for most lenders you need to have held the job you currently had at least 3 months, and have an active bank account in good standing, and many have a minimum monthly earning that you need to receive, like say about $1,000 in net income monthly, and they usually don't check your credit. So yes, bad credit personal loans do exist, if you need a boost due to an emergency expense or something of that nature.
All that being said, you have to be responsible. That just goes without saying, in ANY area of life, and especially with your finances. If you use a tool correctly and responsibly, it can help you out. If you don't, then it can come to bite you in the keyster. If you use a bad credit personal loan, then be careful, and pay it back in a timely fashion, jsut like you would with a car loan, home loan, or a credit card or utility bill or rent payment. Also, look around for the lender with the best terms. Just becasue you're in a fix doesn't mean you have to be too incredibly hasty, or foolish by not finding the best option for you.
