Is your COLIC baby draining you?
57she won't stop crying
Is your baby colic? It can be very draining. You've tried everything and still no results. I am in your shoes. My daughter took over a year to stop. According to every baby book I read it said approx. 3 weeks a baby may start crying for unknown reasons and can last up to about 3 months. Some babies cry certain times of the day. My daughter cried all day long every day. She is now 12 months and she has let up a little now that she is on regular foods but she still has her moments. Point is don't give up. I know at times I would run to the bathroom and just cry hard myself. That helps a lot. Another tip is to let go of the guilt you may feel by leaving her with another sitter or loved one. I always felt guilty not for the baby but for the poor person who had no idea what they had volunteered for. Ha-ha. Don't feel bad though. People don't truly understand what you are going through until they have your baby for a few hours and it will boost your sanity to get away. Trust me. My last tip is wait it out and just know nothing last forever. It really won't. Know one day you'll be ordering that limo for prom and you can say to yourself, "I did it, I made it through". Sounds lame I know but seriously it works. I told myself that everyday. (I also tell myself she owes me big time) She better be the best darn kid in town after all this. ha-ha. Take care, if you ned any more comfort or advice or just need to talk to someone about colic, feel free to write me.
