Triond: A Review
Triond is a great website for those who enjoy writing, video
making, or picture taking. This website is a great way to make some extra
money, but as per usual, don’t expect to get rich off of it. The site runs on
quite a simple principle, You submit content, be it a picture, writing piece,
or video, and when they approve of it, it is published and is promoted by
Triond. It is then placed and hosted on sites such as Writinghood, Webupon,
etc. You make money when people view your content as ads are placed beside it.
Triond will give you a 50% cut on the generated revenue. I believe that this is
slightly low for the content that you publish, but I have noticed that other
sites that run on similar principles such as Bukisa and Associated Content
don’t promote and generate as much traffic as Triond. Generally, You can expect
about a dollar fifty for every 1000 page views per content which is quite low
compared to the rates of Bukisa and Associated Content, which average at about
3.5 dollars for every thousand views. But again, Triond generates better
Traffic.
The Publishing on Triond is quite smooth; you send a piece of content where they get back to you anywhere from 5 to 24 hours. It is quite easy to get published, provided your work is not plagiarized and it isn’t a piece of crap.
My Experience:
Triond is a nice website with a nice way of making some extra money, but I wouldn’t concentrate too hard on it. Although the concept of getting paid for your content that can be whipped up in 10 minutes is nice, it isn’t a big money maker when compared to income generators such as owning your own website. I have noticed that most of my articles only make about a cent each a day. From this, a simple formula can be constructed. The number of articles I write will determine the amount of pennies I get daily. One article will make me about $3.65 a year, and if I have 100 articles online, I will make $365/year. Catch my drift? WRITE! WRITE! WRITE!
The only drawback to Triond is the pay. The Pay rates are horrible when compared to other sites like Bukisa or Associted Content. I believe that Triond is a good start to online writing, but there are other lucrative sources of profit online.
Publishing: 9
Website Build:9
Traffic to Articles: 7.5
Pay: 6
Overall:8-ish
I suggest that both experienced and new online publishers try Triond out as it is a great opportunity. Happy Earning!
