Isis,my cat

We found her at an animal center. She was so tiny and frail. With in the fist couple of days she got really sick and of coarse..it was a three day weekend. We waited as long as we could, but by Monday, we took her to the emergency vet. We found out that she got sick from the surgery knock out drugs when she got spayed. Apparently it lowered her immune system. During the time she was sick she spent most of the day curled up in my lap but she had so much determination still. I am a huge fan of Egyptology..so I when it came time to name her... I looked at the Egyptian Goddess for the answer! Through my search I found Isis, the Egyptian goddess of power and knowledge. As my cat got better she became so fiesty and the name seemed to fit.

Like most cats, she is crazy. She is fascinated with water, but freaks out if a drop touches her. She will crawl onto the tub and try to drink the water.. or she will watch the toilet water as it flushes. The most irratating thing about her is she can not stand anything on a horizontal surface..so if there is a pen, some keys, a remote.. it better be on the floor becuase if she sees it.. it is on it's way there anyways. I hate it especially when I am sleeping she will go on my night stand and knock off the lamps, my cell phone, my alarm clock and my water all on the floor. Of coarse this wakes me up at all hours of the night/day! She is no longer allowed in the bedroom when we are sleeping.
