The Hamas Charter proscribes peace with Israel. Ceasefires are always temporary and only possible when they are advantageous to Hamas. It is always the same when it comes to Israel and Palestine.
I was listening to a Palestinian reporter doing the same thing that they always do. Blaming Israel. Talking about the violence and how the Israelis are targeting civilians and children. What she failed to say, was that the Israeli government sent out leaflets and messages out, warning people of the impending attacks. Telling them to leave their homes and places of business. Now I know to some this is bad, because they still attacked, but tell me if Hamas warns people in a marriage ceremony, that their sending a suicide bomber in to blow them all up. The Israelis just want to destroy the weapons and the places where they hide them. They don't want to kill civilians.
She also failed to report that Palestinians hide their munitions in houses and places of business and places of worship. They use their own people to hide their weapons behind. Why? Because they don't care about the safety of the Palestinian people. You see they not only want dead Jews, they also want dead Palestinians. That is a huge victory in the fight with the news media. That looks good on the camera. The women crying over their loved ones, is a great selling feature, and shows you the kind of people that we are dealing with.
They will stop at nothing to achieve their goal, and everyone is expendable. Except their leaders families. Where was Saddam Husein when he knew the end of his rein of terror was over? He was backing trucks up to the buildings and filling them with money and jewels that he stole from his own people. Where is Bin Laden? Why doesn't he use some of his children as suicide bombers? He has lots of them.
I don't mean to get religious here, but all this was foretold in the Bible. The Story is of Abraham trying to get his wife Sarah pregnant. God had promised Abraham a son, but he was getting old and so was his wife Sarah, and they still had no son. So Sarah thought that perhaps God meant for her hand maid to be impregnated by Abraham, and thus fulfill what God had promised. This was a common practice in those days. Well Sarah was wrong. God said that he would make a great nation from the child that her hand maid would bear, but it was not the promised one that God spoke of. There would be another son, that Sarah herself would bear. This is the promised one.
The son that Sarah herself boar, was named Isaac, and the one whom Sarah's hand maid boar was named, Ismael. Abraham loved them both, after all they were both his sons, but Sarah had jealousy and remorse for the hand maid, Hagar, and the son that she would bear. She eventually ran off into the wilderness from the torment and treatment of Sarah her mistress.
While she is still pregnant, Hagar, the hand maid to Sarah, runs away, but God comes to her.
God finds her hungry and crying, and forgive me, but I am going to quote to you exactingly what is written from the Bible. This is what God said to Hagar, the hand maid to Sarah, about her and her son. " You are now pregnant and about to give birth to a son. You are to name him Ishmael, for the Lord has heard your painful groans." (Genesis16:8-12) Now listen to what God says next about the personality and character of the boy whose name is Ishmael, from whom the Arab nations would come from. " He will be a wild donkey of a man. He will be hostile to everyone, and everyone will be hostile to him. He will live away from his brothers." Is there any wonder why there is conflict between Israel and Palestine? Look at the history and the genealogy of these nations, and it's not hard to see what are the real causes of the Israel Palestine conflict.
Does this describe a bully? Does this describe the character and nature of the people that are trying to kill all of the Jews? Who will not stop at nothing until they have eradicated every Israeli, and anyone who are friends with Israel, from this world.These are dangerous and scary people that we are dealing with. We need to be very careful.
The tension between Israel and Palestine will always exist. The Israel Arab conflict will always be among us. But this personal fight is filtering out into the rest of the world. We have to make sure we don't follow the sign that says, "this way to debt." Everyone is being affected by all this. Do you want your son, daughter, brother, or sister to leave for work in the morning, never to return?
Do you really want to take a chance and have another 911? Don't chase people, attract them to you.

I would like to add something characteristic. Hagar servant became arrogant to Sarah, because she was able to bear child. Sarah was her master’s wife and princes as God called her by changing her name. It was unacceptable to be arrogant from Hagar to her bread giver. Her son was the same as you rightly quoted.
Israeli gave jobs to Arabs, now they multiplied and want to be bosses in the cultivated land. There is the curse over Arab's lands. Look at Iraq, Arabia etc. Bad soil, bad weather. Sand, wind, very cold and very hot. But God can turn it around. He is able to bless them. Just they should accept Him by faith as their Father Abraham did.
But people want religion.
It started with Cain generation. He hated his brother and kill him. His generation started to do weapon of mass destruction. Polygamy started by his descendants (Lamech). It is the same spirit. It is foreign spirit to God.

It is the same in all Bibles. The versions might have the wording arranged differently, but the meaning is the same.
Gen 16:12 "And he [Ishmael] will be as a wild ass among men; his hand will be against every man and every man's hand against him, and he will live to the east and on the borders of all his kinsmen."
That is what the Bible says about the character and nature of the children of Ishmael. Now that doesn't mean that each and everyone is going to be the same. There is good and bad in everyone, but as we mature, we chose to follow what we want to follow, according as we are lead by our nature, will we determine which way we will go.
There is nothing in the Bible about Islam or Muhammed.

Why nothing? Surely this man Muhummed who had been responsible for the bringing into being a world-wide community of millions of Believers who, on his authority, believe in:
(1) the miraculous birth of Jesus,
(2) that Jesus is the Messiah,
(3) that he gave life to the dead by God's permission, and that he healed those born blind and the lepers by God's permission.
Surely this book (the Bible) must have something to say about this great Leader of men who spoke so well of Jesus and his mother Mary?" (Peace be upon them both).
Brian, I am sure, you would find atleast A FLEETING REFERENCE of ISLAM, which is the Fastest Growing religion in the World {in Europe, in Asia, in Africa, in America or in Australia} today & has been for the last few centuries OR about Muhammed(pbuh), if you refer the Bible a bit deeper.

With all due respect Mirza, there is nothing in the Bible about the Pope, Roman Catholics, or Muhummed. The only slight reference of Soviet Russia is in the book of Daniel, where theologians can't agree on, so we really don't know.
The bible is the very word of God to man. You want to know who God is, His nature, character, what makes Him happy, what makes Him sad, you must become a student of His word, the Bible. Jesus referred to the Old Testament as God's word.
It all started when the first man, Adam, believed Satan rather than God, and drove all of mankind into sin and into Satan's camp. The only way we could be free from Satan's grip, was to pay the price. The price for our sin is death and total separation from God. That is God's law. He is pure and holy and can't even look upon sin, and certainly can't allow it to exist with Him.
Satan new this as well. So God had to satisfy His holy and perfect law, and yet He loved us wanted us to be with Him.
He decided to come down into our world of sin and filth Himself, and live that perfect and holy life, that we should live as only God can do. He came down and took the form of a man, and that man's name was Jesus Christ. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No man comes to the Father but by me." John 14:6
When Jesus died on the cross, He took your place and mine, and ever other person who has ever lived and will ever live. He paid our penalty. He didn't have to die for Himself. God's law has been satisfied. He has purchased us back from Satan's prison, and we are free now to follow God's way of truth and righteousness. We are free to chose. Not out of fear, or because we are forced. We are free!
But not everyone will chose to follow truth and do what is right. Many, sad to say, will chose to stay in Satan's camp, and their hearts and minds will always be darkened to the truth. Jesus said, " You will know the truth and the truth will set you free." John 8:32

Thanks for your prompt response to my query. You say, that there is no mention of Muhammed(PBUH). However, I understand that;. Muhummed is mentioned by name in the Song of Solomon 5:16. The Hebrew word used there is Muhammuddim. The end letters IM is plural of respect majesty and grandeur. Minus "im" the name would be Muhamud translated as "altogether lovely" in the Authorised Version of the Bible or 'The Praised One' 'the one worthy of Praise' i.e. MUHUMMED!(P.B.U.H)
It would be great if you can confirm about this. You may have to devote some time, to get to the truth of this information.

I have just about every version of the Bible, and even in the Song of Solomon, there is no mention of Muhummed.
The book is about a young peasant girl who is being courted and watched by the king as he brings her into his harem. He starts to desire her more than the rest and love is filling his heart for her, and the story goes on.
It's quite a beautiful picture of God's great undeserving love for us, as He takes us from our sinful condition and washes us clean and places us in His kingdom palace.
There is no mention of Muhummed in Song of Solomon.

- What makes approximately 20,000 persons, in the U S alone
convert to Islam each year.Even the Guards of Guantanamo
Bay have converted to Islam, after interacting with the
Muslim prisoners there.
- What do you have to say, about the questions, put forward
by Mr Charlie Sheen, regarding the 9/11 tragedy. Mr Sheens
LOGICAL QUERIES, has put the entire Bush Administration

Now don't you think, that these are INDICATIONS of ISLAM

In answer to your first question. Fear is why people convert to Islam. It's not because they are allowed to view and examine the facts and decide for themselves.
A teenage girl from Ohio ran away from her home in fear that her father would harm her and even kill her because she converted to Christianity.
My wife has a very close friend that left her family, (Muslim family) in fear for her life, and was unable to see her sisters and mother for years, because she married an American Christian man.
People are converting to Christianity all the time, you just don't read about it because it is not making news. If you read and believe everything in the news media, you are not getting the whole truth.
Leaders in Muslim countries use fear to control their people. Look at the recent elections in Iran.
Let me ask you something Mirza. Can I, a follower of Jesus Christ, come into a Muslim country and worship my God freely without any trouble or fear of trepidation?
The Muslim religion that I see wants to take over the world, and they will use fear, death and any other means to convert the world to Islam. You said it yourself.
As far as to what Carlie Sheen say, I have no regard for anything that he says. He is one man, entitled to his opinion, but where is he getting his facts. I want to see facts, not just what someone feels or thinks is the truth. There is truth Mirza, you just have to find it. When you push all your hurt feelings and emotions out of the way, and sort through the things that are bothering you and get to the heart of the matter, than you will find the truth. All these things can taint your view of the truth, and hid it from you.
God says that you have to want it, and search for it with all your heart, mind, and soul. Than you will find it and it will set you free! There is nothing like the truth Mirza.
I think the whole world is on alert, and in fear because of the radical views and terror acts of some Muslims. Bin Laden said that anyone who is not a Muslim will be and should be killed. Who wants to join a religion like that? The prime minister of Iran says that he wants to wipe Israel off the face of the earth. We are supposed to embrace a man and a religion like that?
These are the actions that have put angry and fear in the world, and why Muslims are not looked at in a very good light today. I know Muslims. They are not like this. What is the real Islam? Which one are you Mirza? Who do you support?

I moved on from Christianity, thinking the scriptures of the Jews and the Christians are corrupted so there is no way that I can find the truth from the false. I started finding out about Eastern Religions and Philosophies, particularly Buddhism. I spent a long time meditating in Buddhist temples and talking to the Buddhist monks. Actually, the meditating gave me a good clean feeling. The trouble was that it didn’t answer any of my questions about the reality of existence. Instead it carefully avoided them in a way that makes it seem stupid to even talk about it.
I travelled to many parts of the world during my quest for the truth. I became very interested in tribal religions and the spiritualist way of thinking. I found that a lot of what these religions were saying had truth in them, but I could never accept the whole religion as the truth. This was the same as where I started with Christianity!
I began to think that there was truth in everything and it didn’t really matter what you believed in or what you followed. Surely though this is a form of escaping. I mean, does it make sense: one truth for one person and another truth for someone else? There can only be one truth!
I felt confused, I fell to the floor and prayed, “Oh, please God, I am so confused, please guide me to the truth.” This is when I discovered Islam.
Of course I always knew something about Islam, but only what we naively hear in the West. I was surprised though by what I found. The more that I read the Quran and asked questions about what Islam taught, the more truths I received. The striking difference between Islam and every other religion is that Islam is the only religion that makes a strict distinction between the creator and the creation. In Islam, we worship the creator. Simple. You will find however, that in every other religion there is some form of worship involving creation. For example, worshipping men as incarnations of God or stones, sounds familiar. Surely though, if you are going to worship anything, you should worship the one that created all. The one that gave you your life and the one who will take it away again. In fact, in Islam, the only sin that God will not forgive is the worship of creation.
However, the truth of Islam can be found in the Quran. The Quran is like a text book guide to life. In it you will find answers to all questions. For me, everything I had learnt about all the different religions, everything that I knew to be true, fitted together like pieces of a jigsaw puzzle. I had all the pieces all along but I just did not know how to fix them together.
I would therefore like to ask you to consider Islam now. The true Islam as described in the Quran. Not the Islam that we get taught about in the West. You may at least be able to cut down your journey in search of the truth about life. I pray for your success, regardless.

You are asking me lots of questions that I take the time to answer, but you are not answering any of my questions.
Do not think that Roman Catholics are Christians. Many hold them and the Pope up as spokes people for Christians. The Roman Catholic Church is another attempt at men trying to reach out to God. Christianity is not a religion. It's a person, and that person is Jesus Christ. He has put God on display for the whole world to see. (John 1:18)
There are millions of followers of Jesus Christ around the world. Going to a church does not make you a Christian. Doing good things does not make you a Christian. A real Christian, or follower of Jesus Christ, is someone who has given his life over to God. To follow Him and ask Him to come into his life and change him from the inside out.
Jesus Christ is God. He came down to this earth to buy back man kind from the grip of Satan. He paid that penalty for our sins by dying on the cross for your sins and mine. Now the way is open for all who want to come, to come.
Jesus proved He was God by the things he did. He healed the sick, gave sight to the blind, raised the dead back to life, and calmed the seas and the winds by just speaking His word. Only God can do that. Jesus is God.
That is why He was crucified by the Jewish religious leaders, because He claimed to be God. He even told them, "if you don't believe me for what I say, believe me for the works that I do. The sick are healed, the dead are raised."
Than He proved He is God by coming back to life Himself, and than showing Himself alive to His disciples, and more than five hundred people at one time. (1Corinthians 15:6)
The Bible is a history book. Historians have used it for thousands of years. It was here way before the Koran. There is more historical facts to prove the life of Jesus, then there is that Abraham Lincoln was the sixteenth President of the United States of America.
These authors of the Bible have no contradictions. They all lived and saw what they wrote done. If you and I saw an automobile accident, we told someone about what we saw, we might have slightly different stories, because what you think is important might not be as important to me. We saw the same accident but we report different views. It's the same with the bible.
I think you are not answering my questions, because you have one agenda, and that is to get me to follow Islam. I pray that you will follow the truth as only the truth is in Jesus Christ.

•I'm honored to be here today commemorating the biggest tragedy of our nation, the Holocaust. We are also here to celebrate one of the aspects of human behavior -- that of helping each other in time of need. We look back on these dark times of civilization with tearful eyes and broken hearts trying to find lighter moments to ease the pain.
Every tradegy has its own good side. It brings people together regardless of race, color, or religion. It tries to restore hope in their victim's soul and attempts to heal the wounds inflicted on them by their fellow humans. The Holocaust is not only going to be remembered for the millions of lives that perished into the flames of hatred, it will also be remembered for the humanity of others helping the Jews.
There is a small country in the heartland of Europe called Albania where I was fortunately born, where hospitality to foreigners is part of their tradition. During the Second World War, not only did the Albanians save all the Jews who were living among them but they dared to share their homes, their food and their lives with them. Albania has its share of Oscar Shindlers, and, indeed, so many that we could never have thanked each glorious one of them.
Let us be reminded that not one - not one - of the Jews living in Albania, or those who sought refuge there were turned over to the fascists -- all found a safe haven at great danger to their protectors.
My family was one of many who were saved. I'm not a survivor but a child of survivors, born in Vlora in southern Albania. My parents, Nina and David Kohen, came from Janina, Greece. They were living in Vlora when the Nazis invaded Albania. They fled to the mountains and hid in a small Muslim village called Trevlazer. They took Muslim names, my father David became Daut, my mother Nina became Bule, and my brother Elio became Ali. Everyone in the village knew they were Jews but not one person betrayed them.
I had a very interesting experience that I would like to share with you: when I was about 5 or 6 years old, I was walking down the street with my mother, and I heard someone shouting, "Bule, Bule!!!" I turned my head to see what was going on, and this woman was running towards us. She ran to my mother and started to kiss and hug her with tears streaming down her face. Later on, my mother told me that she was one of the women from the Muslim village that had saved her life. Other Jews were hiding in people's houses. As you can see, the Albanian people risked their lives for the Jews. I would not be here today delivering this speech if it were not for the courage and generosity of those Albanians.
Until the year 1990, little was known about Albania and the Albanian Jews but when things began to change in the country, an Israeli photographer, Gavra Mandil, remembered the Veseli family who saved his life. Gavra Mandil had taken refuge in Albania after the Nazis invaded Yugoslavia, and the Veseli family saved him. He invited Refik Veseli to Israel, and, for the first time, an Albanian Muslim was honored with the title Righteous Gentile. As a matter of fact, if you look at the calendar in the Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, DC, on the second page in the month of February, is a picture of Gavra Mandil and Refik Veseli. Since then, more and more Righteous Albanians were discovered and honored in Israel. A list of all of their names is posted in the museum.
On behalf of the Albanian Jews living in Albania, Israel, and America, I would like to give a message to the Albanian people and the Righteous Gentiles: thank you for saving us, we will never forget you.

I do know Muslims and they are not like those that we see and read about in the media, and I often wonder why don't more of those that are good come forward and speak out against those that are not? The Bin Ladin's are giving the name of Islam a bad name. Which one speaks for the true Islam?
I am a Christian and there are those that blow up abortion clinics and kill doctors that are not in the way of true Christ followers. We don't do that and we don't stand behind them. They are sick individuals. They don't speak for true Christianity.
The true Muslims must take a stand. If not, why?

Brian, I find it extremely interesting that your HUB page deals with this topic as I recently was introduced to Fitna the Movie by Geert Wilder. It can be found if you google the Movie's title. I found it disturbing to say the least and we all need to be vigilant and look to the Lord for guidance during these times. Keep up the good work.
