The best things in life are usually the little things. I suggest making a list like this on your own. You will soon realize just what it takes to make you smile. Some of these are kinda weird. But they make me happy.
I'll keep adding to this list. It's the little things in life right?

1) When I wake up in the middle of the night and look at the clock and realize I have a lot more time to sleep.

2) Hearing babies laugh. And seeing little kids smile at you for no reason except that they love to smile.

3) When I get extra cherries with my Shirley Temple.

4) When I see people outside doing things they could being doing inside.

5) I love people that tip 20% (and up of course).

6) Learning something new and interesting and sharing it with someone randomly.

7) Getting out of class early, even if it's only five minutes.

8) Big trees. Like the really old ones that are good for climbing.

9) Phone calls, e-mails, or text messages... just because. (Sending and receiving)

10) Thinking about my childhood friends.

11) Really cold water.

12) Sleeping next to my boyfriend.

13) My work on campus, specifically presentations and helping students.

14) Checking a task off of my TO DO list!

15) Accomplishing something new, and for me. (Staining my furniture, putting up a fan... you know lame stuff like that)

16) Learning something new in medicine. (Did you know seaweed is being tested for anti-viral properties?... See #6) :-)

17) Picking classes.

18) Going on a date.

19) Helping someone, with a little problem, or a big problem... it doesn't matter.

20) Standing up for myself. Even though that's really hard for me sometimes.

21) Cows.

22) People who know when to shut up.

23) Reading books.

24) Going somewhere I've never been before. Even if it is in my town.

25) Listening to music. I couldn't live without music.

26) My bed sheets, when I first get in them and they're all cold. 

27) Getting mail. (Just not bills)

28) Fresh flowers.

29) A perfect, no clouds in the sky... not too hot ... Florida day.

30) Being surrounded by my family on any given day. (My family makes the Osbournes look Amish)

31) Every once in a while when I feel like I'm in a movie. 

32) Teaching someone.

33) The smell right before it rains.

34) Candles, the smell, the flicker. 

35) Laughing so hard it hurts.
