Learn how to speak Italian

As early in the 16th century, the Holy Roman Emperor – Charles V ever told that he spoken Spanish with God, French with men, German with his horses, but Italian with women since though this beautiful language can express many subtleties of feeling and thought. Italian sounds so romantic that make you feel like to talk it with your lover. Many people are taking Italian as their second or third language for many reason, some are for travels, business, hobbies and others.    

The Italian language is the closest to Latin language although it comes from a Romance language. Do you know, Italian language is the official language of San Marino, a primary language for Vatican City and one of the four official languages in Switzerland.

The development of Italian language went through two critical events. Both events were invasions between 1500 and 1850. The first invasion was invasions from the Spain rulers and the second was the conquered of Italy during the 16th century. This invasion left a lasting influence on Italian grammar. And the next occupation of Italy was during the 19th century by the Napoleon. During this war period, Italian language was further reducing regional dialects in order to increase the united nature of the Italians.  

The standard Italian language was developed base on the Tuscan language and formed after the unification of Italy. Latin and some Italian dialects heavily influenced the development of Italian language. Recently, over 1500 dialects were ended their journey with official Italian language. And only in certain villiages and regions, you can hear these dialects were spoken. Old people live in their hometown are still happily to communicate in local dialect, but most young people defiantly like to speak in modern Italian. Official Italian has become the national language through education and media system.
