How To Make The Worlds Best Lemonade

Lemonade is a slightly tart beverage made of sugar, water, and fresh squeezed lemon juice. And it is usually served chilled or over ice. Lemonade is one of my favorite childhood memories. I used to beg my grandfather to make lemonade because my grandfather made the best tasting lemonade I have ever tasted in my life.

I've tried hard over the last 50 years to recreate that wonderful lemonade my grandfather sold from his front porch store but so far all has been in vain. But I will tell you how I remember him making it and maybe just maybe some majic will happen and you will have a glass of the best lemonade on earth.

You will need for your lemonade.

1. 1 Large Bag Of Crushed Ice

2. 12 Extra Large Lemons

3. 2 Cups Sugar

You will want to roll your lemons on a hard surface to break them down and make them easier to squeeze the juice out of them. You will want a gallon jar with a lid. I have one that has a spigot at the bottom to pour the lemonade out of. You want to cut your well rolled lemons in half and squeeze all the lemon juice out into the jar. Once you have all the juice squeezed out into the jar discard the lemons and pour your two cups of sugar into the jar. Fill your jar with water and place in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours.

Now to serve your lemonade you want to fill a 8 OZ. glass with crushed ice and then fill with lemonade. You can cut another lemon and cut a slice from it for each glass of lemonade. You will want a round slice of lemon and you want to cut through it half way so you can place it over the rim of the lemonade glass as a garnish.

Now you know how to make some of the best lemonade you will ever drink. But remember roll your lemons hard before squeezing and yes it does make a differnce to let it stand in the refrigerator for four hours before drinking. Lemon Cream Cheese Bars Recipe

I just simply love Lemon Cream Cheese Bars. If I see one I must eat it. And if I eat one then I want another and another. So be warned that Lemon Cream Cheese Bars are addictive. You can not eat just one.

You will need for your lemon cream cheese bar recipe.

1. 1 Box Of Regular Lemon Cake Mix

2. 1/3 Cup Of Margarine Softened

3. 3 Large Eggs

4. 8 Oz. Philadelphia Cream Cheese At Room Tempurture.

5. 1 Cup Of Powdered Sugar

6. 1 Lemon Grated

7. 2 Tablespoons Fresh Lemon Juice

8. 1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract

In a large mixing bowl mix together the cake mix, 1 egg, and the margarine. When you have it well mixed you want to spray a 9x13 inch pan with spray vegetable oil and then you want to pat the mixture out into the pan.

Now you will want to beat the cream cheese until it is very smooth. Now you will want to gradually mix the powdered sugar into the cream cheese. Now mix in the lemon juice and lemon peel. You want to take half this mixture and put it in the refrigerator for later use. Now take the 2 large eggs and the vanillia and mix it into the remaining cream cheese mixture. Now spread this over the cake mix in the pan. Bake at 350 degres until fully set about 20-25 minutes.

Cool completly and now you want to spread the remaining cream cheese mixture you have in the refrigerator over the top of the baked lemon cream cheese bars. Now refrigerate at least 4 hours and then cut into squares. And it is at this point that your life may be ruined forever. You may find yourself hiding lemon cream cheese bars from the rest of your family. You may even start making them and not be able to stop. Yes they really are that good. Here is one of the best Lemon Meringue Pie Recipes you will ever eat. This pie is one of my all time favorites. And if you make it I bet it will be one of your favorites to.

You will need for your Lemon Meringue Pie Recipe

1. 1 1/2 Cups of Sugar

2. 1/2 Cup Corn Starch

3. 1/4 Teaspoon Salt

4. 4 Egg Yolks

5. 1 3/4 Cups of Water

6. 2/3 Cup Of Lemon Juice

7. 3 Tablespoons Margarine

8. 1 Teaspoon Grated Lemon Rind

9. 1 Baked 9 inch Pie Crust

10. 3 Egg Whites

11. 1/4 Teaspoon Cream of Tartar

12. 1/3 Cup Sugar

13. 1/2 Teaspoon Vanillia Extract

14. Combine First Three Ingredients In A Large Heavy Saucepan And Set Aside.

15. Combine Egg Yolks And Water And Stir Into Sugar Mixture.

16. Cook Over Medium Heat Stirring Constantly Until Mixture Thickens And Boils And Then Let It Boil For 1 Minute Stirring Constantly.

17. Remove From Heat And Stir In Lemon Rind, Juice And Margarine. Spoon Into The Baked Pie Shell.

18. Beat Egg Whites In A Large Bowl With Your Hand Mixture Until Peaks Form. Gradually Add In Your 1/3 Cup Of Sugar And The Vanilla Extract And Beat Until Stiff Peaks Form. Now Spoon On Top Of Your Pie.

19. Bake At 350 Degrees For 20-25 Minutes

20. Place On Safe Surface And Let It Come Down To Room Tempature Before You Place In The Refrigerator For A Mininum Of 4 Hours Before You Cut And Serve.
