Jack Nicholson Morgan freeman Kopi Luwak And The Bucket List

Jack Nicholson, Morgan Freeman Great cup of Coffee and One Funny Animal .

For me every movie of jack Nicholson or Morgan Freeman is a reason to celebrate
I'm quite sure that I'm not the only on e who feels that way and the list of wonderful
movies made by those two is too long to count them all here, but I really loved "Driving miss daisy","The shawshank redemption", and seven sins by Morgan Freeman. Recently I have seen "unforgiven" and my pleasure from that movie was doubled because of my love to Clint Eastwood. As for John Joseph Nicholson more known as Jack Nicholson, who can forget "The postman always rings twice " ,"Prizzi's Honor" ,"Chinatown" and many many more great movies. This is the reason
why I was so happy when I heard about these two giants making a movie together.
Since I love coffee and have some fantasies about drinking "Kopi Luwak" which is about the greatest and most expensive coffee in the world I particularly loved two scenes in that movie which made me, both laugh and get excited, both scenes regarding that amazing coffee, the Kopi Luwak, and the movie which I'm talking about, is the "bucket list".

About the Luwak.

For those of you which have no clue what the luwak is, actually most people haven't
heard about the luwak, so you shouldn't feel bad about it, here is some information.
The Luwak – the Asian Palm Civet, lives in south east Asia and southern China. This Civet which is cat size mammal has the average weight of 3.2 kg and its length is about 50 cm.The Luwak simply loves eating fruit and berries therefore it is considered to be quite nuisance for the local farmers, however this civet is "gold miner" when it comes to coffee berries. Now this is the interesting stuff, when eating the coffee berries the luwak also consume the coffee beans which inside the berries of course.
Inside its stomach digestive juices strips away a lot of the proteins in the coffee bean that causes bitterness. These juices also add extra flavor to the beans because of the way they interact with them. However the coffee beans themselves Cannot be digested and when the Luwak goes to the "toilet" the coffee beans go out of its body and coffee makers collect them.

About the Kopi Luwak.

From the coffee beans which were collected from the waste deposits of the Luwak the most expensive coffee in the world is being made. This coffee is the Kopi luwak. Each year less than 1000 pounds of that coffee enters the global markets, and when I say expensive coffee I do mean expensive. One pound of this unique gourmet coffee can cost about 600 hundred dollars.
If your intention is to drink only one cup of steaming Kopi Luwak you will find that you have to separate from about 50 up to 100 dollars to satisfy your desire and yes that coffee is really that good.

About Kopi Luwak and the "Bucket List"

In the "Bucket List" there are two great scenes that I really loved related to the Kopi Luwak. The first is when Morgan Freeman playing as dying men, and has list of things he must complete before dying reads to Jack Nicholson character, about the process of making that coffee. The scene is really heart touching and funny as well. The mission Morgan Freeman is trying to complete by that is "laugh until crying" and the result is wonderful.I hope you will love it as much as I did.

Jack Nicholson Offers Kopi Luwak In "Bucket List"

The second scene is when Jack Nicholson character offers the coffee to someone else .This scene in my eyes is so typical to the characters Jack Nicholson plays and it is simply fun to watch.Again I hope you will find it amusing as much as I did.
