Gulabi Nagar Vichar Manch remembered Mahatma Gandhi today, January 31, 2010 in their forum discussion. Mohandas Karamchand Gandi, nicknamed as mahatma Gandhi was assassinated on January 30, 1948. As Gulabi Nagar Vichar Manch meet on Sundays they remembered mahatma Gandhi today. Ramraj spoke as chief speakar of forum discussion that Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi was a unique personality. He fought for India and brought independence to the country. He worked for his principles of Truth and Non-violence and never compromised with his principles. Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose defeated Pattavi Sitaramayya to win the post of President of Indian National Congress. Mahatma Gandhi made a statement that defeat of Sitaramayya was his defeat. Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose resigned from the seat of President after this statement and quit Congress. Later on he formed Azad Hind Fauz and named one of its brigade as Gandhi brigade. Netaji himself declared Mahatma Gandhi as Rashtrapita (Father of the Nation). Few people know that the title of Rashtrapita is given to Mahatma Gandhi by Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose. Tejkaran Parasar told that there were four main followers of Mahatma Gandhi in Rajasthan, Gokul Bhai Bhatt of Sirohi being the senior most. Puranchand Tunkalia, Siddharaj Dhadhha and Jawaharlal Jain were three others. Pradip Chouhan told that photos of Mahatma Gandhi are placed in the Judicial courts of India.  Gulabi Nagar Vichar Manch organized forum discussion remembering Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose on Sunday, January 24, 2010. It is worth to be noted that 23rd January was the Birth date of Netaji. Mahesh Swami, Chief speaker explained briefly about his life and his credentials. he told that Netaji inspired Indians with slogan "Tum hame khoon do, Main tumhe Azadi dunga." Subhash Chandra Bose organized Azad Hind Fauz and fought for Indian independence. Vinod Sharma, Dr. Ritum Garg, Naveen Jain (Retired magistrate), Girdhari Sharma and Tejkaran Parashar also expressed their view. Jyoti Kothari told that Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose was a unique personality in Indian history. He not only worked as a general of Azad Hind fauz but also involved Germany, Italy and Japan in Indian national movement. He was a civilian but became Genearl of an army. Chief speaker Ashok Jain, an insurance agent described about health care policies in India. He urged that it is necessary nowadays to have a medical insurance policy to mitigate sudden expenses occurred for medical treatment. MS. Sunanda Singh, Insurance officer, Oriental India also briefed the audience about mediclaim. Dr. Indu Saxena spoke about medical requirements. Jaipur has earned reputation and also earned money in this trade. However, the trade is facing tremendous problems since last one and half years. Gems and Jewelry trade is victim of global recession and slow down. At least fifty percent of total godds manufactured in Jaipur are exported and consumed by the Americans. Hence, slow down in American economy has severely affected Gems and Jewelry trade in Jaipur. He added that abundance of synthetic materials has also played its role to slower movements of gem stones especially semi precious. Gopinath Pareek, Dr. Ritum Garg,  Rampal also contributed to the discussion and asked questions. Both the Chief guest and the Presiding dignitary have answered these queries. Abnormal hike in Gold and Silver price has affected studded Jewelry business severely. People face a budget constraint while buying studded Jewelry. He added that jewelers are shifting from 22 K and 18 K Jewelry to 14 K and 9 K gold in diamond studded Jewelry. Hike in silver price compels silver Jewelry manufacturers to use lower quality of silver.
