Jennifer Ellison (born May 30, 1983) is an English Actress, glamour model, television personality, dancer and singer. Ellison, who was born in Liverpool, is perhaps best known for playing evil Emily Shadwick in the television soap opera Brookside until 2003 and has recently made appearances in many different television shows, and as Meg Giry in the 2004 film adaptation of The Phantom of the Opera. She is a former girlfriend of Steven Gerrard, the Liverpool and England footballer.

Entertainment was in her blood from the very beginning. When she was 2 years old, she was sitting on the counter at a fish 'n' chips restaurant and screamed that one day she would be famous.

It's dancing that put Jennifer Ellison on the map as a young girl. In 1996 and 1997, she won the National Ballet & Modern Dance Championships, which led to a performance at Her Majesty's Theatre in London's West End.

In 1998, she joined the cast of Brookside, a popular British soap opera and her long-time favorite program. Although she was only supposed to guest star for a brief period of time, she remained on the show for five years.

In 2003, she quit Brookside to pursue a singing career. With the upcoming movies Hey Mr DJ and The Phantom of the Opera in the works, she hasn't had time to release an album yet, but her two singles "Baby I Don't Care" and "Bye Bye Boy" are already getting radio airplay.
