Jennylyn Mercado whose real name is Jennylyn Anne Pineda Mercado was born on May 15, 1987 in Las Piñas City, Metro Manila, Philippines.
She is a popular Filipina actress, singer and commercial model. She was the winner of the first season of StarStruck, a reality-based talent search show of GMA Network. She started her singing carreer in 1999 when she signed as a recording artist with Alpha Records. She later went into commercial modeling endorsing products such as Bambini Cologne and Ponds beauty products.
