Jeremy Davies Boring was born on October 8th, 1969 in California, USA. He was the second out of four children in the family. Just after the Jeremy’s birth, his parents moved to Travers, Michigan. Soon, after the family moved, his parents got divorced, and after the divorce, Jeremy moved with his mother to Kansas. In the mid-70’s, after his mother died of tuberculosis, Davies moved with his father to Santa Barbara. It was the moment when he started to dream about an acting career. After Jeremy graduated from The Academy of Drama Arts in Pasadena, his acting debut occurred. In the very beginning of the 90’s, Jeremy Davies played a couple of small roles in TV series like The Wonder Years and Melrose Place.

In 1994 he debuted in cinema, in Spanking the Monk. Later, this will be exactly the character that will bring Jeremy Davies the Independent Spirit Award – as the best cinema debut.
Later, Jeremy Davies played in movies like Nell (1994), Twist (1996), and Going All the Way (1997). Still, he becomes famous after the release of Steven Spielberg’s Saving Private Ryan, in 1998. For playing in Saving Private Ryan, Jeremy Davies received lots of positive feed-backs and was nominated for some serious awards, including best episode play, and received some awards: Screen Actors Guild Award and Blockbuster Entertainment Award.
His career begin to climb after those awards, he became very successful and solicited by movie makers and shown his best in movies like The Million Dollar Hotel (2000), Investigating Sex (2001), Secretary (2002), Solaris (2002), Dogville (2003), Manderlay (2005). He also starred in a TV series like Helter Skelter (2004). In 2008, Jeremy Davies started to play in Lost TV show as a scientist, (time specialist) Daniel Faraday.
Jeremy Davies was never married even he had shot affairs with some popular actresses – Mila Jovovich, Dru Barrymore and Holly Fields.
