Jesse Family Adventure

This is the story of Jesse, Sheila and their three cubs Speedy, Roamer and Nosy and what happens to them when they leave the safety of their home and their friends at the Zoo and travel far, far away to their new home.

Once they arrive at their new home, Jesse makes sure everyone is safe. Only then does he find out that his friend, Mr. John whom he has known as a cub, planned a surprise for him and his family that no one could ever have dreamed of.

For children ages 4 to 8

Originally my grandson Jesse was the inspiration for this story. As the story progressed and the characters took on a life of their own I just couldn’t resist adding a little bit of each one of his three cousins Jennifer, Alyssa and Leigh Ann and of course his sister Tiffany as part of Sheila, Roamer, Speedy and Nosy. (I never did divulge who was who to them. So let’s keep it our secret, ok?)

The pictures were hand illustrated by Bob Jonasz who worked with me very closely to make my characters come alive.
