First of all I am so thankful to God for the opportunity being in the vicinity where Fr. Fernando Suarez held a mass for sickly people in Bohol. Fr. Suarez, a well-known priest in Manila who can cure the sick like Jesus visited our town and touched the lives of more 20,000 people in 2 to 3 days. You witnessed miracle right in front your eyes. People with disability and chronic conditions made their way despite the enormous crowd and heat just to see the healing priest and be touched by God.

I always thought that famous people always have a busy schedule and province like Bohol would probably a spot not on their list.  But Fr. Suarez, a hamble priest gave us a visit and somehow shared to us the true meaning of healing. 

I am a kind of person who is wrapped with doubts and everything, though i believe and love God I am still a person whom most people would say "spiritually weak".   When Fr. Suarez started his homily he shared how God had given him the gift  and shared to us that the true meaning of Healing is when you accept God in your heart and follow him.   A lot of people were touched by his words but sad to say many were doubtful.  They were there because they want to be cured but not to follow Jesus, I may consider my self as one.

At that very moment i attended the mass at the K of C church in Tagbilaran, the small church were crowded by more than 2 thousand people.   Organizers provide plastic chairs for the parishioners but it could not accommodate the growing number of people who keep pouring  the church.  I was lucky because i was able to get a chair, but seeing the sickly and the old ones standing, waiting and sweating, and some holding babies, i decided to give my chair.  The mass was wonderful and some by just listening to the prayers and hymns were cured and spiritually healed.  And Fr. Suarez keep telling the people that it is Jesus cured you and not me, he stressed that God used him as a vessel to help the sickly and be in Gods path again.

After the Mass we were waiting for the chance to be prayed or touched by Fr. Suarez, but because of our number, I have to wait for 4 hours before I could get closer to him.  People were adviced to pray  while waiting for their turn, as far as what i understood, Fr. Suarez wanted us to clear our hearts and minds and be with Jesus, and the healing will come.  But the people there were so annoyed of the so much time of waiting.  They wanted to be the first, only a few prayed the rosary, they keep pushing forward on every available space they could see, and you could see  the oldies with difficulty on walking suffered a lot.  How can you concentrate when you see these people with selfishness on their minds. 

After many hours of standing I able to get inside the church, and there I could see the instant miracles done by Fr. Suarez.  People with faith suddenly collapsed and cried, some felt a warm feelings in their hearts.  How wonderful if you are touched by Jesus? These are the words i keep saying.

I have seen a few walked and just carrying their wheelchairs, but I have seen many with angry faces and still on their wheelchairs.  I think God would cure those with clean hearts and those who really have faith, just like when Jesus cured a blind man in the bible, he said "Your faith cured you." and Jesus used these words several times on many of his miracles.

When I had the chance to be in the line whom to be prayed by Fr. Suarez,  I started to think of many things.  I wanted to pray and pray but it was too late my head and nose were suddenly touched by Fr. Suarez and there i felt the touched of Jesus. But because of my clouded heart.  I did not fell.  I may regret the chance but I always remembered and still felt the touched of Jesus.  I am happy that I was there.
