Thank you God for Jesus Christ.
64Well, I want Jesus because...
Becacuse He is as close to God as we are going to get. I dont neccessarily think that He is actually God, but I do believe that God made Him, and God made Jesus for a reason. I do believe that God can do anything God wants to do, and I do believe it is always for a purpose and a good reason. I wont accept that life means nothing, that when we die, that is all there is and that is all I will ever be.
Seriously, if this is all we will ever be, then I want Jesus to come and fix it so that at least all that we have will be good. I think it is crap that we have to live this way. I didnt choose it. I didnt ask to be born, and I dont get to choose when I die. And anyways, just because other people who think Jesus is the friggin greatest thing to grace Earth seem to be one way, and scripture repeating, gospel praising people doesnt mean they are wierd.
Dont get me wrong, I dont like it either when people come knocking at my door telling me the way to find happiness, cause here it is. I believe in God, I accept Jesus Christ as the one who is going to come again and save man, I accept that Jesus is the God of Man. There is a difference you know.
God is God, But God created Jesus as God of Man because we will never be able to see God, God for what God is. It is something I cant even begin to fathom. I said once to a pastor, Well, I would ask God, who created you.
So for people like me, who dont neccessarily agree in the teachings of Jesus in the same manner as many do, but I do believe it. Seriously, most have never taken any time to read the Bible or anything yourselves, so you really have no idea what these people are saying. You just asume that they or we are some wierd cult of people who lack intellegence or are weak, or have some crazy desire to destroy mankind, or that they dont care about anyone who doesnt believe in Jesus Christ.
Ask youself, why they would try so hard to get people to follow them if they really didnt care about all mankind? Why dont you ask yourself how much it must hurt them inside when even some of thier most beloved friends and family dont believe. Do you think that doesnt hurt them? But they keep going because they honestly with all thier hearts believe in Jesus Christ.
So while I have discovered many different religions and ideas and like all of them for what they represent, I chose Jesus. Sure in my mind, he is also the representation of all that is evil, but hey God made Satan too, but I dont think that Satan is some creature from the abyss or is called fear, seriously I think Satan is ignorants. Satan cant do anything to anyone accept bring them closer to death which ultimatly brings you to some form of God, be it decomposing in the ground and becoming soil for a tree bearing fruit, or burned to ash and becoming apart of the air we breath, or be it with the best of hope and faith, that God will accept us to a place that is always good. In that place we could shake hands or give hugs to Satan because that sorta thing doesnt exist.
Anyways, I think that Jesus bashers should go and read about Him before you think you know what you need to know about Him, you would probably be surprised. Is He Good or Bad, who knows, but I know He wont hurt me because I accepted him as the God of Man, I dont believe Jesus is going to be upset in anyway with me for regarding Him as second to God Himself, whatever He or It is, but I would take Jesus over anyone else. Cause the way I see it is, God loves and trust that Jesus is the best King or God for Man, and if God says this is what is best, then I know that that is what is best.
I found the Buddha quite helpful in letting go of the things that hurt, because the world is suffering, and life is illusionary. And to be happy, you gotta let go of trying to hold on, thus in my opinion, is the same thing as accepting Jesus my savior because then I can just live and love and not worry about suffering because this world is suffering. Though when I said, well if everything is illusionary, doesnt that make the Buddha illusionary too, I got a little bit of stuff for that remark, but come on, its funny right?
Anyways, the point is, how can you hate something you have no idea about? Certainly trying to find the reason why I should accept Jesus Christ over God, has taken a while, and yes I do believe he is the deciever, but not by His making. Since my adventure in God began, I have seen things I never thought possible, I cant look at anything in life without seeing God in it, I had everything taken away from me, and I have gotten all things back, but the best gift I got from God, God bless you Jesus Christ, courage, understanding, the the desire to live. I know I am not perfect, but I am perfectly imperfect and I believe in the promise of Jesus Christ, because Yes, I am not perfect and no one is, but for the love of God, I have a good heart, I have good intentions, I strive for right and usually end up doing wrong, but what comes out sometimes proves differently.
God Bless people. Believe what you want and how you want, but dont bash people who desire better than this because for some it will never get better and we need a reason to live. I needed a reason to live and now I do.
So what if I like punk rock, so what if I like tatoos, so what if I swear like a sailor or crack jokes, or question the man, who cares. If you want to change the world, you have to start from the inside. If everyone changed themselves, then 6.6 billion would finally be united, and our unity would be that we accept all peoples differences and reasons to live, but mine is the promise of life.
Jesus is a genius. Read it for yourself, then decide, I know what you will find is a lot of contradictions, but when you really want to seek God and understand the purpose of Jesus, then you would be whistlin a different tune. Seeking God doesnt come over night, but once you give your heart up to God, your world will change. Changed mine for sure, and it didnt always seem great but the lesson learned is always right.
Still my story never ends. And I make radical contradictions too, but if you paid enough attention to the things that arent said, you would understand what I am saying, though I did get a lot of help from God. My God. I dont know who your god is, but my God gave me the heart of Jesus Christ, and like Jesus I built my life in the heart of God, the One and Only Creator of Heaven and Earth, of anything you can concieve of and things you havent yet.
Thanks God, I love you so much. Thank you for Jesus and thank you for loving me back. xoxox infinity.

Just waiting for someone to tell me the truth.
Another nice hub from you - this time very serious. Yeah, I pretty much share your thoughts, and while I personally don't put that much emphasis on Jesus, I certainly can understand you doing this :)
you already know the truth. you put it right here:
"If you want to change the world, you have to start from the inside. If everyone changed themselves, then 6.6 billion would finally be united, and our unity would be that we accept all peoples differences and reasons to live..."
this is as good as it gets. we can't control anyone but ourselves. controlling others is an illusion. if you act in a way that makes you feel like a good person, you will be happier. that's it. that's the truth. you can call it Jesus or God or Allah or Zen or secular humanism or psychology or sociology. but it's just that, what you wrote there.
Thanks guys. wanna hear a joke? ok, who are the most blessed people on the world?
Ones with allergies! Hachew...oh bless you!
I cant get enough of this joke.
:) cute!
Christ Said: "I am the WAY, the TRUTH, and the LIFE, no man cometh to the Father but through me. "
Great Post.
You are right, people that never read the scriptures, have already made their minds up that their is no Christ. Christ said in St. John, they that do not believe are condemned already.
God Bless!!!
Thanks for the comment Origineplus, God Bless you too!
While you are waiting for someone to tell you the truth you are wasting time. The truth is inside yourself. Jesus was a man, like any other man. His life was one of complete transformation. He showed us that we too are no different and we can do it too. Though you are never going to be as Jesus is by just reading a book. We are to walk the same path as Jesus did. That means transforming ourselves, it doesn't mean hanging from a cross thankfully. There is a book written by Jim Marion, Putting on the Mind of Christ. This book is written by a Christian for christians, yet it is about universal principles that applies to many spiritual seekers following different ways to the same thing, that being the Kingdom of Heaven, also known as the Fields of Peace and some peoples interpretation of Nirvana is the same thing. I am not a Christian follower but a spiritual seeker. I found this book a breath of fresh air to help those Christians who truly want to find their way to Heaven.
The scriptures are full of symbology and only by understanding the symbology will you understand what that transformation entails. And paradoxically it is only by doing the transformation will you understand the scriptures. Yet in essence it is a guide and only by you seeking your own truth and your own essence of Divinity will you enter the Kingdom of Heaven. This has always been the message of Jesus and it is the same of many spiritual teachings.
Be daring enough to find yourself and be yourself void of beliefs. Knowledge can only come from experience otherwise you are believing what you are told, this is not knowledge.
I hope you find your truth.
Thanks Jewels, I am a bit of seeker, after reading all this and that, I decided the best paths for me where to just understand people all togethr to get a better idea of what God really wants.
I say a lot of things, they are just reflections at the moment when I wrote them. Some are not so nice and confussing, but understanding the nature of the causes of "evil", I guess is a part of the journey.
I don't think anyone ever said that seeking God in truth would be easy, in fact for myself it is heart wrenching looking into the eyes of people who are desperate to hold on to what they believe and take down anyone in thier path.
I know it is fine and going to be fine, but I want to uncover every stone, just to see what is going on. I appreciate you comment. I do think that God, in this sense brings people around because I need to hear something from them, you.
It's sorta like a chuch I suppose, though I have never met you, but because you come with loving words, instead of a sward, I know it is from God.
