On July 13, 2009, Jet America is having their grand opening in Toledo, Ohio, and they are offering airline tickets for $9 a seat. There is one catch though. You have to book your flight on jetamerica.com. The other catch is that this price does not include associated taxes and fees.

Jet America is offering nine one-way seats per flight for $9 per seat. That sure sounds like a good deal to me. They are offering the following flights:

1. From Lansing to Newark and Orlando Melbourne
2. Minneapolis to Toledo Express
3. Newark to Lansing, Orlando Melbourne, South Bend and Toledo Express
4. From Orlando Melbourne to Lansing, Newark and Toledo Express
5. From South Bend to Newark
6. From Toledo Express to Minneapolis, Newark and Orlando Melbourne

It seems too good to be true and I don't know how a brand new company like Jet America will ever be able to make any kind of profit with ticket prices so low. It will be interesting to see what happens in the future to this new company.

If I lived close to any one of those cities, I would definitely try this company out. It would be neat to go to Orlando, Florida or anywhere in the states for that matter, for that price.
