For thirty years, Schatzley’s Diamond and Jewelry Design Studio has been doing business in the Toledo area. Schatzley specializes in custom-designed jewelry set with our customers’ Diamonds as well as our Diamonds. We like to be considered your family jeweler and we desire to earn your trust with every visit to our store.

Schatzley’s Diamond and Jewelry Design Studio carries a wide variety of colored gem stones from Amethyst to Zircon. The professionals at Schatzley’s use only the highest quality gems available. We are proud to say we have two Graduate Gemologists on staff to serve you.

Do you have a dream ring in mind? What about that perfect pendant? Schatzley's will make that dream come true. Because we create our own "Purely Original" designs we can make virtually whatever you want. You can come in with three or four pictures of rings and we can use different aspects of each that you like to create your perfect, original creation. We specialize in custom-designed jewelry set with our customers’ Diamonds as well as our Diamonds. We have a wide variety of colored gem stones available to place in your custom-designed piece. Renee is a Gemological Institute of America-trained Jewelry Designer who is on staff to help you create a one-of-kind piece. She works well with our customers to draw the design they want that no one else will have.

Custom design is more than setting Diamonds and gems in a gold mounting. It is listening to what the customer wants and creating that dream ring or pendant. This is Renee Schatzley’s specialty. Renee has always been interested in art so it was natural when Jack and Kay opened Schatzley’s in 1979 that their daughter, Renee, contributed her artistic talent in creating jewelry.

Renee is a jewelry designer trained by the GIA and also a Graduate Gemologist.  She is great at listening to the customer and helping her create just what the customer wants.

Schatzley’s has a nice selection of design samples to start with and also pictures of pieces we have done for stock or for our customers. Renee will get a scope of what is wanted and then draw a design to scale. In some instances, she will have a wax model carved or she will have a computer CAD/CAM image made of the design. After modifications are made, we will then cast in your choice of metals and have our setter place the gems into the metal. See our descriptions of the various metals.
