Our in-House Jewelry Manufacturing Shop is staffed with Highly Skilled Master Jewelers who are expertly trained in Computer Design and Laser Welding technology as well as Centuries Old Hand Craftsmanship.

In the mid to late 90s a new Laser Welding technology for jewelers was introduced in the USA.  This machine allows properly trained jewelers to work on a level never before attainable.  They can weld Platinum a noble metal that melts at over 3000 Degrees while holding it in their bare hands.  Repairs to Platinum jewelry no longer involve removing all the stones.  The laser also welds almost any other metal as well.  Broken stainless steel watch bands are repaired daily.  Eyeglass frames are also possible to repair.  This new technology opened up almost endless new possibilities.  It can weld items less than ¼ mm wire, that’s less than 100th of an inch.

Also during this time the emergence of CAD (Computer Aided Design) arrived in the jewelry industry.  CAD and CAM (Computer Aided Manufacturing) has allowed skilled master jewelers the freedom to design and manufacture unique jewelry never before possible.

Satow Goldsmiths has an ultra modern fully equipped shop.  They can design a ring in CAD and Mill it out of wax with a 4 axis computer driven mill to tolerances not achievable by hand carving.  The wax is then cast in the precious metal of your choice and assembled using laser welding technology.  The ring is then hand finished and the stones are set by master jewelers.  Then after a final polish and inspection, your one of a kind full custom jewelry is done. 

Satow Goldsmiths is owned by Steve Satow. Steve moved to the Las Vegas area to purchase Delaria Bros Goldsmiths in 2007. The purchase was complete in March of 2008. He has been in the jewelry business for 38 years, and is one of the jewelry industry’s foremost Laser Welding experts. Steve has also been involved in the emergence of CAD in the jewelry industry and has won International Design Competitions for his CAD Jewelry Designs.
