Installing the JG6614 Folding Stock is a snap!

The M4 Carbine is a family of firearms tracing its lineage back to earlier carbine versions of the M16, all based on the original AR-15. It is a shorter and lighter version of the M16A2 assault rifle. Jing Gong has replicated this real steel gun with the JG6614. This is the new version 2 Jing Gong M733F (JG6614) AEG. This TM/CA Replica comes with a metal gearbox, folding stock, and barrel. It's the folding stock that gives so many people problems with installation. We get a lot of questions from customer who purchased this Airsoft Gun, so we are going to show you how right here!
Step 1 - Locating the parts
You should have gotten a bag of parts. In this bag you'll have an Allen Wrench, Metal D-Ring and a threaded Pin (D-Ring and Pin Pictured).
Step 2 - installing the D-Ring
Place the D-ring on the slotted tab at the end of the gun receiver. The side the Sling mount protrudes from is personal preference. We suggest you try both ways for best fit and comfort. Note that if you place it on the right side it will obscure the forward assist lever (non-functional).
Step 3 - Prepare the Folding Stock
Now, you'll need to open the Folding stock pin. You do this by Grasping the Stock as shown, with your thumb on top of the hinge pin. Press down on the hinge pin, this will move the locking ring in the opposite direction of the stock hinge.
Step 4 - Mounting the Stock
Swing the locking ring assembly down, this will expose the hole for the mounting pin. Affix the locking ring on the receiver stub, insert the mounting pin and tighten into place with the allen wrench. Fold stock back into place and your ready to go!
