My daughter loves to watch Johnny and the Sprites. It is actually quite enjoyable, there is always lots of singing and quite a good story. If your child has not seen the show then you should let them watch it. Which one is your favourite sprite?

Johnny and the Sprites is a musical television show aimed for preschoolers. You can watch the show on Playhouse Disney. The show stars John Tartaglia. In every episode there is a musical number. The Sprites and other creatures inhabit Johnny's world.

The show follows Johnny T (Tartaglia), a song writer who moves into a house given to him by his great-uncle. There, he discovers little magical creatures (brought to life through puppetry) called "sprites," who introduce him to their fantasy world. In return, Johnny shows the sprites, named Ginger (Leslie Carrara-Rudolph), Basil (Tim Lagasse), Lily and Root what it is to be human, teaching them (and the viewer) an important lesson through song, dance, and entertainment.

In October of 2007 Disney/MGM Studios presented a live version of the show as part of their Playhouse Disney in Concert series.
