JOY TABIQUE

Joy Tabique a student in International Studies at La Salle University in Manila is one of the rare breed of talents whose passion to save the environment has made her a Singing Ambassadress of Call to Save the Mountains of the World, - an initiative that has become a global movement as it gained the endorsement of the former U.N. Secretary General Kofi Annan, His Holiness Dalai Lama and other leaders. She feels as one with Lea Salonga, the broadway star and Lolita Carbon of Asin who are both Ambassadress and key endorsers of the Call to Save the Mountains of the World.

Recently she had her first MTV filming at Banaue Rice Terraces that was directed by the HDI Founder, John Ryan Largo who was a U.N. Film Production Specialist and an international awardee in film documentary making. He was supported by Ian Jon Mendoza, HDI Philippines Executive Director, Katrina Tabique, Kazuaki Kori and Mila Tabique.

Largo, said that Joy Tabique has much potential as an artist that’s gifted with a unique voice that transcends a very deep sense of passion to make a difference in making this world a better place. Her MTV will be soon in You Tube, HDI website and on television.

The Founder calls everyone who believes in the cause to support Joy’s quest to move people to do their innate obligation in the shared responsibility as caretaker of our Living Planet Earth.
