Joy Taking Away
52Be Aware
It was one day in May, when she decided to check out this web called myspace. She was searching for men online, when she just happen to see this young dark brother that no words could describe. She texted, he texted back, and then they started to chat. Everyday for three months they grew closer and their love grew stronger, he was the love of her life and the joy of her heart, he captured her with his words and beautiful remarks. But so quickly those feelings started to fade, because of this one night in September
He took her joy away.
To his room he took her to go and make his day,
she told him no then pushed him away,
He came back toward her and hit her across the face,
He tried to kiss her but she stopped him in his tracks,
she ran to the door but he pulled her back.
He pushed her on the bed and took off his shirt,
she jumped up,
He slapped her then ripped of her skirt.
she screamed,
He hit her and said “shut up”,
she told him to stop and he said “for what”.
He got on top of her and she started to scream,
He covered her mouth then hit her with his ring,
The pain she felt made her realize that this was no dream.
She struggled for him to get off, most times she begged him please.
He said to her, “I told you I loved you more then twice, I tried my best to be nice”
He took her body and tore it apart,
he took her laugh, pride,
her soul and her heart, he took everything.
He wasn’t sorry for what he did because he still the same,
He pint her arms down to the bed,
The more he did it, the more she could feel blood rush to her head.
she cried out and cried out but no one could hear her,
it was like the world was mute,
she couldn’t be heard.
But it was over, finally it was over,
she couldn’t move, she couldn’t speak,
He got what he wanted but he took it forcefully.
He took her home and said
“I love You”,
she close the door and said sure you do.
That’s how she got, this thing you think is love, is nothing but death, you wrong turn can ruin your health. Don’t let anyone trap or fool you into doing what’s wrong, and you know it’s not right, because when it finally happens there will be tougher things you’ll have to fight.
In the end she said to herself “how could he do this to me? He said he loved me, I trusted him with my heart and gave him the key. Because of that wrong turn, four weeks later I found out that I had HIV”
So just listen to what I say “I love you” doesn’t always becomes ‘we’ it’s just another line people use that leads you to getting HIV.
