So the Holiday Season is upon us. And so are all of the temptations to eat and eat and eat. When all we want to do is lose weight. UGGHHH! So how can we jumpstart are weight loss during this Holiday Season and stop the bulge.

Here are a few tips and tricks to help you get through the Holidays.

1. Please drink 3 liters of water a day. I am serious. I drink one in the morning, one during the afternoon and one at night. This is a serious weight reduction tip that will help you stay full and hydrated. Not to mention the benefits you get for your skin.

2. Stay off the DIET drinks. They MAKE YOU FAT. There are so many toxins in diet drinks that are very bad for your body. They clog up your liver and your body has to work overtime to get rid of them. Then your body has used up all of that time removing toxins instead of YOUR FAT.

3. Do start your day with fruit. EASY! Get your metabolism rolling the minute you get out of bed. Fruit is super easy to digest. Only eat fruit the first 3 hours after you wake up.

4. 30 minutes of excercise a day. At the very least. Listen, you need to get your body moving and those endorphins released. Take a walk twice a day. I do a walk in the morning and the evening. Make sure you don’t eat until 1 hour after you excercise. You want your body to burn the fat not the food you are putting into your mouth.

5. Small portions. Please eat like a person and not a hippo. Portion sizes are out of control nowadays. You just need a little at a time. Take after the French. Small portions 5 times a day. Listen, they eat bread and cheese all day and are skinny little people. WHY? Because of the portion sizes.

6. Try and eat fresh food. Organic or garden grown. Do you know why the Europeans are so stinking skinny. Because they do not have POLLUTANTS in their food. Our food is loaded with toxins and crappy stuff that overload our liver function and make us FAT. Stop the insanity and get organic.

7. Stop stressing out. This makes you FAT and untolerable. Neither is nice. You can’t do anything about it so stop stressing. Stress is like sitting in a rocking chair. You can rock all day long and you get nowhere.

8. Meditate. Do you meditate? This is just a fancy way of saying “Give Yourself Alone Time”. You need to chill out in a quiet place for a few minutes a day. Take some really deep breaths and just relax. Connect with your inner divine spirit. I do this in the morning and at night.

9. Laugh. When is the last time you had a belly aching, foot stomping, eye-crying laugh? I want you to read a joke, watch a funny movie, read a funny email. JUST LAUGH!

10. Last but not least, LOVE YOURSELF BECAUSE YOU ARE FABULOUS! I insist that everyday you tell yourself that you are beautiful, intelligent, loving, caring, kind and Fabulous. Do you think you can be skinny if you don’t love yourself. HA HA HA! Think again. Your inner child will slap so much fat on your butt and belly to hide you from the world because it(inner child) feels unloved. Pump yourself up everyday and give yourself a hug. Look in that mirror and say “I LOVE YOU”.

Now get out there and start becoming your fabulous self. You are a child of the divine and should look like it.
