For Internet Network Marketers: The Formula For a Successful Blog

Start with a plan on who you want to attract: known as your target market. Every good idea starts with a plan. Remember when you were in school, the teachers had you turn in an outline before the paper was due? It's the same thing. Start with a plan on who you want to attract. I had to plan this just so I could talk about planning! As an Internet Network Marketer, you must decide what type of prospect you wish to attract so you can plan how to attract them. Once you've established your target market, think as they do in order to plan what you're going to say in your blog to attract them.

1. What Do You Want to Talk About? Find a Internet Network Marketing topic that you are knowledgeable and passionate about. It will show. Since you are going to attract network marketing prospects, you will need to be credible. It's also extremely important to speak to the audience, or target market, you wish to attract. Take a look at blogs created by other Internet Network Marketers and think about how yours can be unique. Take your topic choice and put your personality and style into it to separate you from the millions of other bloggers. That sounds tough, but there's only one "You"! And, please be You!

2. You'll Need a Domain Name. This starts the creative process. Since you've already picked your topic, you can now choose a domain name related to your Internet Network Marketing business. It will help if there are keywords in your selection. Try to pick a name that is concise, not too long, fits your topic and the target Internet market you are wanting to attract. There are many good web sites to purchase a domain name from. GoDaddy is one that lets you view who owns the domain name you want, and when it will be up for renewal. This might help you in terms of competition over topics and keywords.

3. Choose a Home For Your Blog. There are numerous Blog services to choose from, and some are free. The overall appearance and feel of your blog should be important; as are the first impressions of your prospects. Put some thought into how you'd like your blog to be perceived, as well as the options that are offered by your blog service. Keep in mind that your blog will be growing and you'll want the option to be able to support a large following of Internet Network Marketing prospects, and know where the leads and free traffic are coming from. I use SquareSpacefor my Blog. It is inexpensive, has a professional appearance and has the features I need to expand thru the years as my blog grows.

4. Blog It At this stage, you have a choice of planning an outline for your blog, like we're doing here, or just jumping in with both feet. You can always go back and plan an outline later once you get a feel for what you're trying to accomplish. But, it will be important to organize your blog posts into areas so your Internet Network Marketing prospects can navigate thru your blog to find what interests them.

What if you don't know what to write about? The easiest way I've found to keep the posts coming is to write on what I've learned from other fellow Internet network marketers throughout the week. As you're participating at Social Marketing sites, you'll meet lots of cool people to learn from. This way, you'll never run out of material!

Instead of copying what's out there, your goal is to provide a unique perspective on topics that interest you and will be of interest to your Internet Network Marketing prospects. Remember to stay focused on topics for your target market. The passion you have for what you do should be apparent. You'll also need to keep your message consistent in order to hold your reader's loyalty and meet their expectations.

To help you stay true to your target market and attract the right prospect for you: As you run across successful Blogs and Internet Network Marketers, make a note of what it is about their style that attracts prospects, and at the same time, notice what you do not find as compelling in order to "stand out" in a sea of bloggers.

Don't forget to engage your readers and welcome them to join in; with questions from you and comments from them. Asking for participation and inviting their comments shows appreciation, and empowers the reader to become a part of Social Marketing.

In turn, participate at other successful Blogs and Social Media sites to increase your visibility and credibility as a Social Marketer. Developing a successful Blog has a lot to do with working inside your Blog, as well as outside, to build an inviting, social, Internet community.

5. Do Your Keyword Research. In order for search engines to know you're open for business, you'll need to coerce that free traffic to visit with some good keywords that will attract your Internet Network Marketing target market. You'll need to include keywords in your topic headlines and well as your blog content. Use them as often as possible while still having your content read normally.

If you stay on one topic instead of meandering, it will be easy to keep your content focused on the right keywords to attract your chosen Internet market. A free, keyword tool can be downloaded at www.goodkeywords.com; no strings attached.

6. Send Out Your Invitations. It's time to invite the guests! The best way to invite prospects is to use links in your content so that the search engines can bring most of your free traffic by way of your links and keywords. Do this by setting up links in your content that link to other Internet sites you find valuable; related to your Internet Network Marketing business.

You can also use Social Book Marking to bring free traffic to your network marketing business site, as well as use all forms of Social Marketing sites to attract prospects to your blog. The subject of how to market your Blog is one that can require some Internet Network Marketing Training to learn how to pull together all aspects of Social Marketing to attract free leads to you and your blog.

7. Evaluate Your Traffic. Evaluating your Blog's traffic and success involves monitoring where the traffic is coming from, or not, and learning how to beef it up. Your blog service should show you where those leads are materializing from so you can put more effort into links that are effective, or spend more time at Social Media sites that are productive for you.

Use the old saying, "You have to Inspect what you Expect". Evaluating your efforts is just part of the process of becoming a successful Blogger. Again, this is another area of Social Marketing that may require some Internet Network Marketing training, as the Internet is an ever-changing social arena.

8. Invest Your Time in Continuing Education. With the Internet changing as quickly as gas prices, you'll want to keep up with Internet updates so that your Blog will have the most current information to retain subscribers who depend on "trendy" content. Getting in on a new Social Marketing site, or keyword market, first can mean the difference between loads of free traffic, and no traffic.

Depend on the professionalsin Internet Network Marketing to supply you with the education you need to always be learning new methods to attract prospects to your Network Marketing business thru your Blog. Along with your continuing education, you will be able to continually add fresh content that the search engines use to propel your Blog forward in the rankings. Without your commitment to new postings, you may lose current readers as well as the possibility of new Internet traffic. Just like the party that has the coolest, hippest guests, everyone wants to be noticed, with their comments, at the most happenin', up-to-date Blog!

  • Internet Marketing for the Beginner: We All Have to Start Somewhere!

Can you empathize with me?  The link to my article shown here, tells how I really felt at the time.  I was so new to Attraction Marketing not too long ago, but knew I wanted to learn how to attract prospects a new way.  I had to start somewhere to learn Beginner Internet Marketing, so I turned to Renegade University, and viola!...a blog is born! - 3 months ago

  • Attraction Marketing Support and Training System

This article on Attraction Marketing Training and Support System is about true, personal support and service. We talk about bad service and lack of support but rarely does someone stop to give kudos to excellent support.  If you think about it, lack of support can mean "failure" in a new business venture, no matter how great the company is... - 3 months ago

I just now found this hub. Becky, and it's yours. Good job. I'm just now starting to evaluate the traffic to my blog. I've gone back to a few hubs too to try and add a tracking code. And you are so right about keyword research. I'm just now doing a better job with that too. You covered all the bases and the basics!
