In the Tamil film industry Jyotika was one among the highest paid actress ever. After giving several blockbuster movies in Tamil and Telugu, she married her long term lover Surya. At present she is a lovable mom and a responsible housewife. The couple is blessed with the cute little angel Diya. Jyothika gave her excellent performance in her recent Tamil movie Mozhi. Earlier,she had also bagged the best actress award for Chrandramukhi.

Jyothika is thrilled with the position God has given her today. She have got to meet & work with the best of the Best & the freshest of talent within a very short time.Jyothika was introduced to Hindi films by Priyadarshan in his movie Doli Sajake Rakhna but sadly the movie did not make it much against his conviction.

Jyothikas first role in the Tamil film Vaali though very miniscule she could feel the positive reaction of her audience reception; to vouch that I was awarded the Best Newcomer Award for it .She have always been more closely associated with South than Bollywood. Though she is from the north and her dad has produced and directed many films, it is because of her didi's popularity here in the south that jyothika was introduced into Cinema that's no secret!
