Wireless Japan 2009 event is held from July 22-24th in Tokyo.One of the best one showed in this event is exhibition of micro SD wireless LAN card for cell phone handsets and PDAs.

Now a days Wireless Technology has become one of the best LAN technology with its easy interoperability and without need of wires.Most of today mobiles and PDAs are equipped with WI-FI, but in case if there is not then this is the solution from KDDI with its micro SD card addon which will enable Wi-Fi as long as there is Micro SD Slot.

KDDI showed off two cards from two manufacturers Renesas Technology Corp and Mitsumi Electric Co. Ltd. Along with these hardwares device drivers are also available for Linux , Windows and WinCE.

Main usage of these cards are

---- Non built-in Wi-Fi PDAs/Smartphones can get Wi-Fi capability if they have Micro SD Slot.

---- Connect your HDD recorder with your Smartphone to download videos.

---- Connect your Laptop with your Smartphone without any wires.

Still there is no concrete idea for pricing and availability .....
