"KILL, STEAL, DESTROY"
53kill, steal, destroy
Dawn is a newly college graduate, who lost her parents in an auto accident. As she prepares to go live with her aunt, Ethel, she and a group of her friends decided to take a skiing trip first to help Dawn’s recovery of losing her parents.
When they arrived at the skiing resort that was encircled by clean, white snow, they were excited to get started. Amongst Dawn’s group was a total of eight people.
As they progressed to get settled in, they realized they arrived too late to ski for the day. They all sat around the fireplace in the lobby of the hotel to drink hot chocolate and talk about old times. Laughter rang from corridor to corridor as the group of eight enjoyed their exchange.
The next morning was the big day of skiing. They were having the most fun, as they tackled the slopes. The group was skiing until they could not ski anymore from exhaustion.
Just when they returned to the hotel, a man was in a fury about his wife being missing. This irregularity caused the hotel to form a search party to find the missing woman. The snow was too deep to look for her on foot, therefore, the hotel contacted the proper authorities who would send a helicopter to find the woman.
While there was a search party for the woman, other people were thought to be missing. Dawn and her friends became concerned and volunteered to assist in finding the missing people.
The hunt for the missing people became concentrated as the number of volunteers grew.
Then, members of the search party became missing. They could not understand why people were missing, so it was recognized as they were lost. Nonetheless, they continued their dismal search.
When Sergeant Kelly, the officer in charge arrived, he started to suspect foul play. He explained that there just isn’t a coincidence in the world that would indicate ten people being missing within one day. Not to mention, five were of the search party.
Dawn and her group was in the same vicinity as Sergeant Kelly and they stumbled across a large, dark red patch in the pure, white snow with what appeared to be human tissue in the midst. There was screaming, vomiting, and gasping amongst the group, as they reacted to the ghastly scene. The rest of the search party came to investigate what they have found.
Upon viewing the patch in the snow, it came to them they have a severe problem on their hands. None of them had a clue who was behind this horrendous situation, thus, they continued to search.
A mile ahead laid parts of the human body in the snow. There was an arm here, an ear there, and more of the horrific red patches.
They all became to the utmost of being frightened. Sergeant Kelly demanded they go back to the hotel to report what they have seen, while he and his men continued. The officers had their guns drawn and proceeded with absolute caution.
They saw a strange man standing on a hill watching them. Looking through a pair of binoculars, The Sergeant saw that this man stood approximately, seven foot, five inches and weighed about four-hundred and fifty pounds, with a heavy muscular build. His face was pale, with a cold stare as if he was not of this world. He was bald and had little clothing, as though the cold, harsh weather was not a deterrent to his mission. His teeth were painted with blood, as though he had eaten the flesh of the people whose remains laid like waste in the snow.
They stood silently for a moment with all guns pointing at the stranger. Sergeant Kelly ordered the stranger to come down off the hill and come with him to be taken in for questioning.
The man jumped down to the opposite side of the hill and ran. By the time, the Sergeant and his crew arrived at the top of the hill, they saw no sign of him. For miles, he had disappeared like a doused flame to a candle. All that was there was writing in the snow saying, “kill.” They became baffled.
Sergeant Kelly decided to split up the men to cover more range of finding the deranged killer. It did not matter what they did, they were not successful. They did not have the strength, the agility, and the mobility to move around in the plentiful snow like the gigantic man could. However, they did not give up.
Meanwhile, back at the hotel. There was calamity of all sort. People were in a frenzy and started turning against one another out of fear and distrust. As they still do not know of the titanic that Sergeant Kelly and his men observed. Some people had been trampled in an attempt to leave, as the hotel became a human stampede to elude danger. Some children were separated from their mothers during the confusion.
Dawn watched the bewilderment and decided to try to get the people out of the hotel in an orderly fashion with the enlisted help of her friends. Just then, a loud collision came through the hotel lobby and there stood the Amazon, as he bursts his way through the walls. He was holding a sharp, jagged edged machete. There was screaming, as people scurried to get away from him.
The Amazon veered his blade, killing all who got in his way. Dawn managed to run. As she ran towards the direction of where the search party first assembled, her eyes were moving around in search for her friends. She did not see any of them, therefore kept running.
Finally, she met up with Sergeant Kelly, who summoned her to get on the helicopter. As Dawn boarded the copter, she informed the Sergeant that the huge man was at the hotel on a killing spree. The Sergeant and his men ran as fast as they could to get back to the hotel, while Dawn was taken to safety.
Dawn’s aunt Ethel heard of the mayhem and went to the police station to pick up Dawn. After Dawn gave the police her account on what happened, Ethel lovingly caressed Dawn and took her home.
The ladies sat at the kitchen table while Dawn uncontrollably sobbed and told her aunt what had happened. Ethel has traumatic problems of her own, but listened to her niece and put on a pot of tea to calm her. After hours of listening to and consoling Dawn, Ethel puts Dawn to bed.
The following morning, Ethel prepared breakfast and woke Dawn to eat. Now, it is Ethel’s turn to talk.
As they were having breakfast at the kitchen table, Ethel began by telling Dawn, “my first born son, Jason has an incurable illness that will ultimately kill him. It is a blood illness where his blood evaporates from his body. Transfusions were the only thing keeping him alive. Now, that he’s had so many, they have run out of his type. If he doesn’t have a blood transfusion soon he will die. My daughter, Julie gave so much blood until it killed her. I will do anything for the sake of my son.”
Dawn replied, “I’m sorry aunt Ethel. I never knew! Is there anything I can do to help?” Ethel was standing by the kitchen sink when she turned her back and said, “I knew you were his blood type. I knew everything about you since you were a baby. I just need you to give him some of your blood. I rescued you, now its time you pay it back.” Dawn exclaimed, “Aunt Ethel, I can donate some of my blood if it will help! Tell me where do I have to go?”
When Ethel turned around, she had a large needle in her hand ready to steal blood from her niece. She slowly progressed towards Dawn and said in a calm voice, “don’t be frightened, dear. It will only sting a little.”
Dawn became afraid, but at the same time trusted her aunt. She tried to lay back and relax, but could not. She wanted to see what her aunt Ethel was doing. Ethel had planted herself in a position that Dawn could not see. For this, Dawn became skeptical and resisted. She told her aunt she did not want to give blood that way, as it made her highly uncomfortable. Dawn grabbed her coat and was going for a walk.
Ethel became aggressive, refusing to let Dawn leave. Dawn did not know what to do, however, self-defense became second nature for Dawn in this situation. She pushed her aunt and Ethel hit her head as she fell. Ethel was unconscious. Dawn stood over her in tears and disbelief. It was only a few seconds before Ethel came to. The women started to struggle.
While they struggled, Dawn noticed that Ethel had tightly locked the house to prevent her from leaving. Her eyes were wondering in search for a defense mechanism, even if it was running.
Dawn managed to get away long enough to run upstairs. When Ethel regained herself, she followed Dawn and advanced toward her. Dawn leaped through a window that was two stories high. As Dawn attempted to get up, she saw bones covered by leaves and a small amount of dirt. These bones belonged to other people from whom Ethel stole blood. She had buried their remains in her privately closed in backyard.
Dawn got up and ran away from the house as fast she could. She ran for awhile until she stopped to rest. With no where to go, as her home was with aunt Ethel, her friends have not been recovered from the skiing trip, she decided to take a rest where she was, which was a park.
As she laid back on the park bench to recover from the trauma and to think, another strange, tall man was approaching. This man, was very nicely dressed in a gray suit, a gray hat with a long, white feather, and there was this dull florescent light glowing off of him. His shoes had taps on them, therefore, you can hear a tapping sound with every step he take.
He called out to Dawn in a low pitched, gravel like voice. The sound of his voice sent chills down Dawn’s spine, as she became anxious. The closer the man got, the more she backed up until Dawn just started running again.
It did not matter how fast she was running, the tall man was walking and was always only several feet behind her, but, gaining distance.
As she ran, she saw all the havoc this man represents. It was as though, he had a telepathic link to her, letting her know that he is the destroyer of things. Although it was only in a matter of seconds, she saw flashes of diabolical storms ravishing any life form in its path, the sea was filled with dead inhabitants floating on top, cities were destroyed by fires or natural disasters, nature laid by the roadside and some still falling to their deaths, people in agony and acting out of desperation, there were mounds of desolate tracks capitalized by poisonous contamination, rivers were running off course, the earth had opened, swallowing many, and there was an uneasiness that indicated, something greater is imminent.
These flashes caused Dawn to become even more afraid. As panic was upon her, she ran continuously until she came to this well lit house in her path. The house was the only thing lit up in such a dark place, as if to say someone, lit her way.
Just when the man reached out to grab her, the door opened and there stood Dawn’s mother who died in an accident. She had a heavenly light glowing off her. She pulled Dawn into the house just in the knick of time. With an angelic voice, she informed Dawn that she would be safe there. Afterwards, she disappeared and Dawn felt all alone.
Although Dawn seemed safe, she closed her eyes as she heard the man’s low pitched gravel like voice echoing in anger outside the house. The vibration of his angry voice caused the windows to break.
Dawn frantically started to scream. When she opened her eyes, she realized she was dreaming, as she was tucked in bed, in the sanctuary of her bedroom at her aunt Ethel’s house.
As Dawn went about her day, the nightmare had her on edge. She went to talk with her priest, who suggested that Dawn had an experience with pure evil. As the enemy comes to kill, steal, and destroy, he also comes in a variety of images. Her priest felt her dream meant that she was shown examples of the enemy’s motivation. He continued by telling her, although the enemy is busy, so is God, as he placed her mother there, as a guardian angel to protect her.
Dawn gave her priest a hug and thanked him. As she started off to work, she heard the same sinister footsteps behind her as she heard in her dream. She stopped, said a prayer, then had the courage to look back. No one was there! Nothing but the wind. She smiled, as she continued on as she then knew she was victorious.
The End!
