Loken stated in an interview with Curve magazine, "I have dated and have had sex with men and women and have to say that the relationships I have had with certain women have been much more fulfilling, sexually and emotionally, than of those with certain men... I connect with an aura, with energy. And if the person with whom I connect happens to be a female, that's just the way it is. That's what makes my wheels turn."

Kristanna Sommer Loken or Kristanna Sommer Løken (born October 8, 1979) is an American actress known for her work in both film and television, and as a former fashion model.

Following in her mother's footsteps, Kristanna Loken took up modeling at a young age. In 1994, she placed third at the Elite Look of the Year contest in Ibiza, Spain. This paved the way for several excellent opportunities in fashion, but it was acting that really attracted her. Her role as Danielle Andropoulos in the soap opera As the World Turns that same year, was the first of short-lived TV stints for the teenage beauty.

During the next few years, she took on roles in the comedy Unhappily Ever After, and the TV series Pensacola: Wings of Gold and Mortal Kombat: Conquest. Loken's recurring role in the drama Philly (a courtroom series that starred Kim Delaney) in 2001, helped audiences forget her big-screen debut in two film flops: Gangland (2000) and Panic (2001).

Loken's future fame now hinges on the fate of Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines (2003), the third installment of the hugely successful action series. As T-X/Terminatrix, the female cyborg supervillain, Loken combines sex appeal and pure evil into a role that is sure to be viewed by millions. In 2004 she starred in Ring of the Nibelungs and in 2006 she appeared in the flick BloodRayne and the TV series The L Word.

Then, in 2007, Kristanna Loken had a reoccurring role in the SciFi channel's Painkiller Jane and in 2008 she starred in In The Name Of The King.
