Today there are over ten thousand (Shluchim) emissaries of the Lubavitcher Rebbe in just about every city and university around the globe. Without exaggeration, The Rebbe has done more outreach bringing more Jews back from the four corners, back to Torah than any other Jew in history. And yet we are unaware of his presence and ignorant to G-d’s involvement with every aspect of this world, his kingdom below. Without biting off too much in the first chapter, suffice to say that the wisdom or as some would call it technology, that G-d uses is beyond our capacity of understanding and we cannot at all comprehend His greatness.

From there comes the flow of life force going from the Giver above to the recipients here below. The Giver is G-d Himself, and each and every one of His creations is the recipient. The Psalms sing out this system all along, as is repeated in prayer daily, “(Poteach Et Yadecha Oomasbia Lekol Chai Ratzon) G-d opens His Hand and sustains all living creations.” Kabballah teaches that the life force becomes so filtered and sublime that it must enter the body through the body's smallest receptacle. The beard hair acts like a straw for the enlivening flow that is alloted through it's corresponding soul to it's physical body. This is why Mystics never ever shave their beards, not even a trim. Kabballah teaches that the beard itself is not just holy but also the beauty of man and that the realm of mastery over Kabbalah is man's too.

Kabbalah as a system, is far too deep and wide a subject to delve into with one text. Basically Kabbalah is translated to mean, Life Force or vitalizing flow which is received. A master of Kabbalah flips the switch from what we see with our eyes in the every day world to its real internal aspect of G-dliness that is within it.
