Kambakkht Ishq review
Rating :3 of 5
Offers a decent watch ,this movie can be at times dumb and even meaningless if you will. But with Akshay Kumars magnificent charm drives this movie to victory. But dont expect anythingof a story from this movie because this film doesnt have any .Its stirring enough to keep you at your seats and make you laugh .Kareena's acting is one of the worsts at her career ,overreacting and just plain sloppy at times. The real star everyones waiting for Sylvester Stallone,is also a bit cheesy.
With all these faults I liked this movie plainly because of the funny jokes and one liners it have. Here are some other kambakkht ishq review s done by other critics:

Director Sabbir Khan and his band of writers (Kiran Kotrial, Anvita Dutt Gupta, Ishita Mohitra) seem clearly clueless where to take the story so they keep spinning it in circles and throw in a couple of Hollywood faces like that of Sylvester Stallone, Denise Richards and Brandon Routh to flaunt to the audience how Bollywood has graduated from desi item babes to videshi atom bombs.

My title may be not enthusiastic but I loved this movie for more than half of the time. I normally don't like emotional drama so second half was little boring for me. But everybody in the cinema was laughing for a major part. So I can say that this is a entertainer. Akshay was mind blowing, Kareena(I don't like her) was fit to her role, and Bindu was brilliant.
Overall a nice entertainer(better than OSO & RNBDJ of s**ker khan). You'll not regret your high multiplex price.

Kambakkht Ishq is one of the most lavish productions to come out of Bollywood no doubts about it. But despite involving four scriptwriters the film still falls short of the expectations where the promised wholesome entertainment is concerned. The main problem being the wafer thin plot, then again some really bad jokes that fall flat and finally the second half. Also many a times the thin line of acceptance has been crossed in the name of humour which makes it a difficult watch for the family audience. The first half breezes quickly but the second half slows down considerably. The serious turn taken though comes in with the flow of the film, it gets boring as you know it very well where it is all going to lead to. Though it is applause worthy job by debutante director Sabbir Khan to helm a film as huge, you sorely miss a David Dhawan who would have controlled the lunatic moments more effecientl

The story got left behind, far behind. What story, you may ask? And a good question it would be. I can’t find a single nice thing to say about a film. Not a line, not one joke. What can you do when the maker’s aim is to make an awful film? It runs literally dead slow and has not as much as an iota to savor.
