When you hear the voice of the Norwegian singer Khan, you'll wonder just where this lyrical assault on your ears is going to lead. With emotionally thrilling songs and masterful instrumental accompaniment, Kamelot is one of my personal favorite power metal bands, ranking right up with Dragonforce.

Current members include:

• Roy Khan - Vocalist. Khan has a powerful voice and a great stage presence, lending a deep emotional quality to the music.
• Thomas Youngblood - Guitarist. Thomas is one of the founding members of the band, and an awesome guitarist to boot.
• Glenn Barry - Bassist. Glenn replaced Sean Christians in the early years and is the only member of the band who appears on all of Kamelot's albums besides Thomas.
• Casey Grillo - Drummer. Casey joined the band when Khan came on board as vocalist, and brings rhythmic superiority to the table.
• Oliver Palotai - Keyboard. Oliver provides the haunting, fierce melody to this ensemble. Oliver joined the band in 2005, and is engaged to Simone Simons of Epica.
