Kaizad Gustaad discoverd Katerina Kaif and brought her to India to star in his movie Boom (2003).Katerina was only 17 when she came to india.She had been modelling since she was 14. She was born (16 July 1984) in London, brought up in Hawaii and London. Her first film Boom was agreat flop, but Katerina was not the kind to be cowed down by such failures. She understood the fact, that her biggest hurdle to success in Indian Film Industry was her poor Hindi.
Kat waited, took lessons in Hindi, stayed on in Mumbai, and took on various modelling assignments. She modelled for LG, Veet, Lakme and various other premium brands. Her innocent face, and fabulous body was an instant hit.
After that she never looked back. Welcome, Partner, Siing is Kinng were all great hits. As the news came, she has recently signed a Hollywood film of Amritraj Productions for Rs.7 crore. So, we may expect one more bllywood top actress going to hollywood, after Aishwarya Roy.
