Kavya Madhavan wed Nishal Chandra in Feb 2009 on an auspicious day. Kavya Madhavan's life partner, Nishal Chandran, is working as the technical adviser in Kuwait National bank and after marriage, both of them will go back to Kuwait.

Kavya Madhavan and Nishal got married and held a grand reception at Le Meridian, Kochi on the 9th and then yet another reception at Kavya's native place, Neeleswaram, on February 12.

Last November, there was a glimpse of this news spreading out that Kavya Madhavan, the top heroine of Malayalam film industry is going to marry Nishal Chandra who works for International Bank of Kuwait as Technical Advisor will tie knot with one of the talented young artists of Kerala during the first half of 2009.

Nischal was a child artist and has acted in various Malayalam movies like 'Aham', 'Kizhakkunarum Pakshi' and 'Ilavankode Desham'. Nishal is the youngest son of Chandramohan and Mani originally from Kayamkulam, now settled in Kuwait. He did not give up studies good for him, so he gave up acting and concentrated on studies I guess. Nischal went on to the US for his higher studies. He graduated from Harvard University with Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering and Masters Degree in Telecommunications together in 2002. He worked for Wall Streets top tier Investment banks. A penchant for entrepreneurship led him to start his first side business under the name InfoSoft Solutions while in college. He followed it up with a consulting enterprise Ambientwave Technologies. In 2004, Nischal was cast by director Jayaraj for the record setting 'For the People' and in 2006 he went on to do the sequel 'By the People'.
