I feel very strongly that there are people out there that need this specific statement from Jeremiah 6:16.
Prior to the statement the context He is speaking from was that of an angered Father after His children REFUSE to bid God's will for themselves and the brethren.
Their actions were beyond stubborn and unruly...as "God's" children(remeber when your own children disobey and disobey and disobey).
But here we have hope and I want to spread hope for those that love the Lord Jesus:
6:16---
Thus saith the Lord, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls.
This is still the whole purpose God actually gave us. He's a giving God and yet we cannot stop on our own being lead astray from the message that Jesus is love.Unconditional.
