Laptop Overheating?
The HeatShift laptop cooler is comprised of patented crystals that significantly lower laptop temperature. This patented cooling technology dissipates heat faster and more effectively than fan products, it uses no power (extends battery life), wires, or refrigeration – making it the most advanced, and eco-friendly laptop cooler you can buy. The HeatShift cools uniformly by using organic cooling crystals that dissipate heat away from the laptop allowing it to perform at its best while keeping the laptop at a safe temperature. The superior design and performance of the HeatShift Laptop Cooler has received numerous industry awards such as the CES Innovations Design & Engineering Award and the iF Design Award
How does the HeatShift Laptop Cooler work?
The HeatShift laptop cooler utilizes unique cooling crystals that cools laptops on contact. When the HeatShift Pad is placed under a laptop computer, it starts as a solid crystal state, and begins to absorb heat via conduction.
After many hours of continual use; parts of the pad slowly change from a solid to a liquid and continues to cool the heat source by convection.
When the laptop is not being used, the HeatShift Technology phase change back into a solid state, preparing itself for the next use.
Why Do You Cool A Laptop?
- Faster modern laptops generate more heat
- Small casing limits heat dissipation
- Overheating can cause severe damage to laptops
- Built-in heat dissipating modules are not effective for the average laptop user
- Hotter laptops compromise performance
- Hotter laptops also make the internal fans run faster, resulting in shorter battery life
