10 Great Tips to Keep in Touch With Your Friends

Friends like family are part of our lives but unlike family, you can choose them!

To help you to keep in touch with your friends, even with you hectic schedule, I dressed a list with some tips to keep a friendship alive.

1) Call your friends

Even if you get only their voice mail, leave a message. I know that some people just hate to talk with a machine, but others (like me) cannot stand to check the message and hear that weird noise meaning that somebody was over there but he/she says nothing. Call me crazy but I feel like I'm in a scary movie!

2) Write to them

Have you noticed all emotions that's coming up at the same time as you open a letter?I love to open a friends'letter!Send birthdays cards, weddings cards, anniversaries cards, Christmas cards. Write, write, write!

3) Send an e-mail (every week)

A short message like" Hey buddy, I just wanted to wish you a wonderful day", sounds lovely doesn't it?

4) Send a postcard

Its so good to know different and beautiful places. Share that special trip with your friends!

5) Send gifts

Special occasions, special gifts. You don't need to buy anything expensive, you can do it by yourself. My husband had a friend that worked with leather. That guy used to make belts and other accessories in leather as a gift for us. It was special and unique.

6) Make them part of your life

Let them know which movie you just watched and loved,or advice them to read a book that you are sure he/she will love too.

7) Share friends!

Sounds funny but sometimes we have a friend that loves to play chess and hates Chinese food, and another one that is just the oposite and because that they didn't know each other. Try to find what they could have in common and introduce them. You will be surprised that the passion that both have for baseball games makes them best buddies even with some differences!

8) Pray for them

It doesn't matter which religion you and your friend are;keep your friends in your prayers or meditations; wish them the best.Wishing others good things will make good things happen in your life too!(The law of Karma)

9) Forgive them

Nobody is perfect. Sometimes problems arise. Don't allow some misunderstood to break up a friendship. We all make mistakes! Treat your friends with respect and ask them to forgive you when is your fault. Be wiling to do the same when the situation will be inverse.

10) Be yourself a good friend!

Listen to your friends, help a friend in need and give them your attention. Don't let your friends down!
