One way to keep New Year's resolution is to choose a realistic and achievable goal. Something like quit smoking entirely after smoking for 5 years is not a good idea, something more like one cigarette less or not smoking on Monday and Thursday's lunches would be something more realistic and achievable. Another way is to actually try to accomplish your resolution, have that strong will. Don't give in to your flesh, you have to be strong. Choose a strong achievable and realistic resolution and it'll be much easier to keep it for the whole year not just one week.
