Keeping the Romance Alive When You Have Children

It is difficult when you are married with children, to find the time to make Valentines Day special for your partner, you want to be romantic and share a few precious moments with your partner and just as you are getting comfortable one of the kids will interrupt with " Can I have a drink of water Please?" or one of the many other reasons children have to get your attention.

It isn't only on Valentines day couples with children find it difficult to share little romantic interludes and the romance soon fades into a distant memory of a time gone by.

Keeping the romance alive when you have children is a difficult task, it becomes a game of cat and mouse, you have to try and get yourself one step ahead of your children. Think about the reasons that children will use to wreck your romantic interlude and plan a little ahead, a glass of water on their bedside cabinet would solve one problem, another problem could be solved by keeping your children active during the day, play soccer with them, go for a long walk with them, keep them active and they will be so tired when it comes to bedtime that they will sleep.

The walk even with children present can be romantic, holding hands or having your arm around your partner's waist or shoulders, sharing a secret kiss as the kids run on in front of you, or play on the swings at the park.
