Imagine running paid marketing campaigns to your replicated URL? Or what about building links to your affiliate URL by doing blog posts, writing articles, or building hubs.

Patiently you wait, visiting the search engines to check to see if your affiliate site has been spider, and indexed.

Only to find out that it is not there. After all that hard work of promoting, many sleepless nights and money that you have spent the only thing that you get back from your search is top level domain of plrwholesaler.com. There is nothing that indicates your affiliation to PLR Whole Saler.

As it appears the only thing you would be doing is paying for this domain to have a nice position in the search engines. What a bummer!

Now if you have not realized what just happened, let me tell you very frankly. Basically you have just spent your money, and hard labor to promote The PLR Whole Saler website.

When you promote like this you also have no control over your promotions. If website was to shut down for some reason or another, then all the links you built all over the Internet will also die.

However if you were using your domain name, and redirecting traffic to your domain name, then you would be able to find a similar offer to what you was promoting before, and redirect your traffic to the new offer instead.

The key is to make sure that you are in control, of everything that you do concerning your marketing campaign. Owning your domain name is the first, and most critical step that you can take to have control over your marketing promotions.
