50Is Birth Control the Answer?
I was reading in the news yesterday that a politician brought up birth control as a means to help the economy. I sat there with my jaw nearly on the floor wondering why on Earth someone would think that birth control would be the answer to the economy's problems?
So, in other words, this woman was saying eliminate the amount of children being born, and it will reduce the federal and state government's spending on education and health care!! OUTRAGEOUS!! Over population is not the problem! The problem is politicians and other agencies and corporations spending enormous amounts of money. Why don't we crack down on those spending too much money on things that do not matter and stop trying to play God and tell everyone how many children they can have.
Yes, I understand some people have babies just for the fact they can collect more government money, but why instate wide use of contraception and stop people from having babies because our governmet doesn't know what it means to control it's spending habits? Just something to think about!
