Kelly Clarkson, the original American Idol winner, as her final song on American Idol finally. she sang the song "A Moment Like This". Then it later came out as her first single then eventually on her debut album called "Thankful". Which sold over two million copies. In 2006, Leona Lewis won The X Factor UK (which is similar to American Idol, another show searching for telent). As her winning song she sang "A Moment Like This" and it became her first single. It was downloaded over 50,000 times in 30 minutes. Breaking the world record.

Leona Lewis has a unique, yet amazing voice. In "A Moment Like This" she does incredible! Although, I think she doesn't hit every note quite right, I enjoyed listening to it. I didn't like the official music video of this song, she didn't sound that great. But when I watched the live version of Leona on The X Factor UK, she gave me chills. Her voice sent chills up my back and onto my neck. Which (incase you are confused) is a good thing. I was stunned because after hearing her on the music video, I thought it wasn't going to be good. I think that most artists sing worse when they have to sing live. But not Leona! Well not in this case, she sang better live.

Kelly Clarkson has a beautiful voice. She surprised me during the first American Idol competition, she truly has powerful vocals. In my opinion, she nailed this song! It was right up her alley, and she did it almost perfect. I liked the official music video for this song better than Leona's. I mean they are the exact same video, (except different people) but Kelly Clarkson sounds better in hers. She also gave me chills, when I heard this song. But she gave them to me many times in the song and Leona only sent chills a couple of times.

As for who did it better, Kelly Clarkson. Maybe I am biased because she did it first. But from what I hear, she did it a lot better. Besides the lyrics, they seem like completely different songs, because they are different artist. I'm not saying Kelly is the better artist. I think I would pick Leona Lewis as the better artist because she has such a unique voice and it is new. Kelly Clarkson has been around longer, so you can grow tired of hearing her. I am very fond of both. Both are amazing but this specific song was perfect for Kelly!
