There are many keyword tools out there that can cost you loads of money and people pay hundreds and thousands of dollars to buy such tools. Whether you do Pay per click advertising or write articles, you need the right keywords to focus on your campaigns.

Here is a smart trick to find profitable keywords that get enough of traffic and that can help increase traffic to your site:

This is an ideal keyword. If the result or competition is below 10,000, then this is the right keyword to focus on and it will not be difficult to rank high for this keyword if you do article marketing properly.

There are times you get the competition between 10-20000. You can also focus on these keywords but is the result is more than 20000 you should look for other keywords rather than waste your time on such keywords because it is very difficult to rank high for them in search results.

You should look up for at least 50-100 such keywords and build your site based on them, linking each page with articles on various article directories such as Ezine, Goarticles, Buzzle, Articledashboard etc.,

These articles will help you get a steady stream of traffic and will help boost your conversions.
