Whether you are a Pay Per Click marketer(PPC), a Search Engine Optimization(SEO) professional, or a business owner with a website, having the proper keywords are essential to your online success.

If you are new to keyword research, I recommend that you first learn the fundamentals of keyword research before buying any keyword tools. You can get some free videos on learning keyword fundamentals using free resources by clicking here.

If you are more advanced in your online marketing, you may be already be using keyword tools or looking to purchase tools to enhance your marketing efforts.

In my opinion, Keyword tools are best used for pay per click marketing. Although they have many benefits that also lends themselves to other forms of online marketing, it works best for PPC. Here are a few reasons why I say this:

  1. SEO or search engine optimization in my experience is better handled by those who really understand the market that is being optimized for the search engines. Doing keyword research the old fashioned way is the only way you can understand your market properly. Also, if you are building massive keyword lists (which Keyword Elite is great for!), there is no way you can optimize your website for thousands of keywords. You would be optimizing your site until the end of time to accomplish this. Most experienced SEO experts try to determine the most relevant keywords to their market and that is what they go after.
  2. Long tail keywords are the golden nuggets in pay per click marketing. Basically, long tails keywords are keywords or phrases that consist of three or more words that usually represent a person who is more specific or further along in their search process. This usually means that this person is more than likely looking for an exact product or service. Usually they are looking to purchase in the very near future. Many SEO experts also like to optimize their websites around these terms, but with PPC, you can make a huge return on your investment in a short period of time if you can determine the best converting long tail keywords.
  3. Spying on your competition is a big deal in the pay per click world and a feature provided by most keyword tools. This is a major feature advantage inside Keyword Elite that works extremely well. If you are doing Pay Per Click and you are not keeping tabs on your competition, you are going to get crushed. I can tell you from first hand experience because I have been doing PPC marketing for over two years. You need some sort of spy tool to be successful. I can almost guarantee that the people doing well in your market with PPC are spying on you and everyone else as well.

In my opinion, Keyword Elite is one of the top keyword tools on the market. I actually use several different tools, but Keyword Elite is one of my favorites. Because I am a more advance marketer, I know these tools greatly ehance my campaigns.

Like I mentioned earlier, if you are new to the game, you probably need to learn the basics first before investing in any type of tools. Keyword tools are not cheap. So I would suggest you learn the ropes first so that you get your money’s worth out of them. You can learn how to master keyword research using freely available resources by clicking here.
