A Child holds the following poster in a public rally.
The message reads the following: What I learned from Bush 1) Lying is OK 2) Cheating is OK 3) Torture is OK 4) Taking any people’s rights is OK 5) Neglecting the poor is OK 6) Being a religious hypocrite is OK 7) Killing is OK 8) Incompetence is OK 9) Cronyism is OK To see a bigger image of the above click here. Some criticize it is only a child, but it doesn’t matter even if the sign is held up by an adult the message will ring true. If we are asked to give examples to any of the above, we can easily fill in the blanks. 1) Lying is OK – “There are nuclear weapons in Iraq” claim that led to Iraq war 2) Cheating is OK – “Halliburton” swindling money in Iraq 3) Torture is OK – “Guantanamo Bay” prison 4) Taking any people’s rights are OK – No Amnesty rules for prisoners of war 5) Neglecting the poor is OK – Ignoring New Orleans during the storm with poor management. 6) Being a religious hypocrite is OK – Hating Muslims in private but supporting Saudis, Pakistanis, Egyptians. 7) Killing is OK – Killing innocent Iraqis with bombings 8) Incompetence is OK – Calling Australians as Austrians 9) Cronyism is OK – Putting only friends in main jobs With the next government it will be more of the same, maybe a little less but will have the same characterestics. Do you agree with the poster? Can you fill in the blanks.|

hmmm..I wonder where she was when Clinton was having difficulty with the definition of sex?
I think it is very sad this child apparently has no parents I could respect. No child picks that up on his/her own. Not only where were those parents when Clinton was having "that" problem.. where were they when he ordered airstrikes on Iraq because of weapons of mass destruction in 1998? Where were they when the Twin Towers were destroyed by terrorists of the same ilk as in Quantanamo Bay? In reality.. none of this even is credible enough to respond to..... it only gives it a semblance of credibliltiy by doing so. My heart goes out to that child in the picture..... her mind has already been manipulated.
Hi Silverstar it is not about Republicans or Democrats, if the same child had a similar poster about Clinton, you would have said that was brilliant. Even if this poster is held by an adult it will still depict the same picture.
You know...My husband and I were both in military intelligence field. His specialty was the Iraqi language. My son was stationed in Bagdhad last year. The thing is the average person does not have the full story, nor will they be likely to get it until records are declassified and released in 25 years or so. This means that unless you have a clearance and inside information as to what is actually happening you are basing your ideas and opinions on a very weak platform, imho.
No man, no human needs be worshipped. None ae perfect. Bush included. But since most of the young lady's ideas are based on things that noone really knows the details of then perhaps she should be looking closer to home for a hero. Our children find that hero in their father. I wish more children could.
Well said, Marye.. and no cgull.. I would not have called it brilliant under any circumstances.

"It is only a child" is a criticism? It should be an eye-opener. Children grow into adults, who vote and make decisions. Most adults make decisions based on things they learned and experienced as children. I think it is very sad that this child doesn't have a president to respect. I think it is very sad that I, as an adult, don't either.
Great picture.
