She is an American singer best known for being a contestant on the second season of Fox Network's singing competition television show American Idol and as a talk show host on the TV Guide Network.

On American Idol Season 2, she was the sixth finalist eliminated and finished in seventh place.She went on a recent date with "American Idol" Season 7 winner, David Cook.
