Kindle DX: A Review of Amazon's New Wireless Reader
64The feature I like the most in new Kindle DX is larger screen; it is like you are reading a real magazine or text book. The people who like to read real text books like me are feeling comfortable with this amazing new device. Clearer page view with better contrast and easier to read the large articles. For sticky readers, when start reading a book stop after finishing it, Kindle DX is the best choice.
Second most great feature is PDF reader, it is excellent. I am opening pdf documents in it as in my PC, isn't that amazing. Documents can be copy and paste (drag and drop) with a USB cable. I put different scale pdf files from my laptop to Kindle DX, it scales them correctly as I used to open in my laptop. Really nice reader
Battery timing is great; it runs for about 10 days of constant reading with wireless off. It is wise to put wireless of when you are not downloading for battery to run long. It is also more durable than previous generations. I was standing on the floor when it dropped on the carpet. It was all right.

Generally it is a wonderful reader with some flaws related to software. I am a writer, before I write an article I use to read a lot of stuff including research papers, scanned books, pdf reports and whatever I found. I copied a lot of files in my Kindle, it starts to take time in turning pages probably due to overload in memory.
With auto rotating screen it is easy to see charts and pictures in landscape and portrait form, it is another amazing feature of Kindle DX. One more thing in Kindle DX is that the navigation buttons are at right side while in Kindle 2 these are both at left and right side. So the lefties may feel uncomfortable with it.
It is also expensive as compared to Kindle 2 which is $300 and you have to pay $489 for Kindle DX, I think this is not much price as compared to amazing features of large screen and PDF reader.
