Kindle Wireless E Reader

The amazon Kindle, is a wireless reader made by Amazon and released in 2007. A palm e book reader that has a cell phone data service. This service uses facilities from Sprint but the user does not have to sign up for the service, it is included in the device.

This is how it works, once you purchase a e book reader download which is a book you have selected, the service downloads it into the Kindle. You have access to your new book immediately.

Kindle has a 6" display with an internal memory of 256MB. One of it's features is the USB connection so that you can use your computer with the device if needed. The handy key board built into the device so you can easily make notes to documents.

The Kindle 2

The Kindle 2 was released in February  2009. If you liked Kindle, you'll love Kindle 2. This version has a faster controller chip, text to speech capability. This means Kindle 2 can read to you. Pages turn automatically while the content is being read to you. Therefore you can have your hands free. It has the ability to allow you to switch back and forth and it remembers your spot. You can even select whether you want a female or male voice to read to you.

Like Kindle, it also has a 6" display screen with an internal memory of 2G. It has a micro-B connector (USB port) for connection to power adapter or to a computer that has a USB mount (windows, Linux, Mac OSX)

The battery life is up to 4 days on a single charge with wireless on, turn wireless off and read up to 2 weeks. For a full charge, it takes about 4 hours.

You are welcome. The Kindle 2 is great for any business because it allows you to have your hands free. You don't have to read, it reads for you in a voice of your choice.
